These are historical removal dates, not an upcoming December lineup. The list and reported platform labels below come from Insider Gaming’s December 3, 2024 report of Xbox’s announced departures.
Games scheduled to leave on December 15, 2024
If you were choosing what to play first, this was the earlier deadline. Insider Gaming reported that the following seven games were scheduled to leave Game Pass on December 15:
| Game | Reported availability |
|---|---|
| Amnesia: The Bunker | Cloud, console, PC |
| Forager | Cloud, console, PC |
| Forza Horizon 4 | Cloud, console, PC |
| Rainbow Billy: The Curse of the Leviathan | Cloud, console, PC |
| Rise of the Tomb Raider | Cloud, console, PC |
| Tin Hearts | Cloud, console, PC |
| The Quarry | Cloud, console |
Forza Horizon 4 also left digital storefronts
Forza Horizon 4’s Game Pass departure coincided with a separate change: Playground Games said the game and its add-on content would be delisted from the Microsoft Store and Steam on December 15, 2024, because of licensing and partner agreements. This was not stated for the other games on the departure list.
Playground Games said existing owners could continue to download and play the game, including its offline, online, and multiplayer features. It also said physical copies purchased after the delisting would work and could use online features. The notice does not establish current retail stock or prices for physical copies. How to read the platform labels
The platform labels reproduce Insider Gaming’s December 3, 2024 report; they should not be read as a claim that every title was included in every Game Pass tier. In that report, The Quarry, Lego 2K Drive, and Party Animals were listed for cloud and console, while the other ten titles were listed for cloud, console, and PC. The report is a historical announcement, not a check of today’s Game Pass catalog or regional availability. See Insider Gaming’s December 3, 2024 list.
