There is no defensible, current ranking of 20 games confirmed here to support both ray tracing and DLSS. NVIDIA’s official compatibility list covers more than 1,000 games and applications with RTX features, but that broad count is not a count of games supporting both technologies. The six games below are useful starting points named in NVIDIA’s DLSS materials; check each title’s current settings and the NVIDIA list before buying or choosing hardware, because the evidence available does not confirm the full feature pairing for every game.
Six NVIDIA-named games to check first
NVIDIA’s DLSS materials identify the following titles as examples. They are candidates for an RTX-and-DLSS shortlist, not a verified ranking: the cited materials do not establish the current ray-tracing mode, every DLSS feature tier, or comparative performance for each game.
- Cyberpunk 2077 — NVIDIA names it as a DLSS example. Verify the game’s current ray-tracing options and which DLSS features are available for your GPU.
- Alan Wake 2 — NVIDIA names it as a DLSS example. Check the current in-game options and NVIDIA’s compatibility listing for the specific feature combination you want.
- DOOM: The Dark Ages — NVIDIA names it as a DLSS example. Confirm its current ray-tracing implementation and DLSS feature support before treating it as a match.
- Indiana Jones and the Great Circle — NVIDIA names it as a DLSS example. Check current game settings and the compatibility list for ray tracing and the relevant DLSS features.
- Black Myth: Wukong — NVIDIA names it as a DLSS example. Its inclusion here does not by itself confirm the current ray-tracing mode or all DLSS tiers.
- Star Wars Outlaws — NVIDIA names it as a DLSS example. Verify the current feature pairing in the game and NVIDIA listing.
Why this is not a ranked list of 20
A “best” list needs both a verified feature set and a meaningful basis for ranking. The available official material names these six DLSS examples, but does not substantiate that all six currently support both ray tracing and DLSS in the relevant versions, much less establish 20 qualifying games or compare their visual payoff and play value. Ranking unverified entries would imply a level of confirmation and testing that is not established.
NVIDIA says its list includes over 1,000 games and applications with RTX support. That total spans applications and different kinds of RTX features, so it cannot be used as the number of games with both ray tracing and DLSS. NVIDIA also notes that new games add support over time, and the list was marked last updated September 15, 2026. NVIDIA’s RTX games and applications list is the right starting point for checking current entries.

What “DLSS support” can mean
DLSS is a family of features, not a single switch. A game can support one feature without supporting every other feature in the family.
- Super Resolution uses AI to reconstruct a higher-resolution output from a lower-resolution input.
- Frame Generation creates additional frames between conventionally rendered frames.
- Dynamic Multi Frame Generation is a separate feature in NVIDIA’s compatibility matrix.
- Ray Reconstruction enhances ray-traced scenes.
- DLAA applies AI anti-aliasing at native resolution rather than upscaling from a lower input resolution.
- DLSS 3D-Guided Neural Rendering is another feature listed in NVIDIA’s hardware matrix.
NVIDIA’s matrix associates Super Resolution and DLAA with GeForce RTX 20-, 30-, 40-, and 50-series GPUs; Frame Generation with RTX 40 and 50 series; and Dynamic Multi Frame Generation and DLSS 3D-Guided Neural Rendering with RTX 50 series. A game’s feature listing and your GPU generation both matter. NVIDIA’s DLSS overview distinguishes the features and their hardware compatibility.

Native support and NVIDIA app overrides are different
NVIDIA’s compatibility list distinguishes features built into a game from some features that can be enabled or upgraded through NVIDIA app overrides. An override is not the same as native game support. When checking a title, confirm whether the listing refers to native support, an available override, or an update to the model used by a natively supported feature.
How to verify a game and turn the features on
- Check the current NVIDIA listing. Find the exact game and inspect its ray-tracing and DLSS markers, including whether the relevant feature is native or an app override.
- Check the game’s own feature page or graphics options. Confirm the supported ray-tracing mode and DLSS features for the current version; availability can differ by feature.
- Install the current GeForce Game Ready Driver and update the game. NVIDIA lists both as setup steps before enabling the options.
- Open the game’s graphics or display options. Enable ray tracing and the DLSS feature you want, if those options are available. Menu names and choices vary by game.
Choose a DLSS mode for your resolution
NVIDIA’s general guidance is Quality at 1920×1080 and 2560×1440, Performance at 3840×2160, and Ultra Performance at 7680×4320. These are vendor suggestions, not guaranteed best settings for every game, graphics card, or image-quality preference.

What to look for in a genuinely useful RTX-and-DLSS shortlist
- Visual payoff: whether ray-traced lighting, reflections, shadows, or path tracing make a visible difference in the game.
- Feature detail: which DLSS features are present, rather than an undifferentiated “DLSS supported” label.
- GPU fit: whether your RTX generation supports the specific DLSS feature you intend to use.
- Play value: whether the game’s genre and campaign or ongoing content suit what you want to play. This is editorial judgment, not a measured score.
- Performance evidence: frame-rate claims need benchmarks for the particular game, settings, resolution, and hardware. No such comparisons are established here.
