Recommended Free Tools
These are 20 Dream Addresses iMore recommended in 2021 for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, spanning Japanese-inspired scenery, horror, fantasy and game-themed islands. They are historical recommendations, not live-verified codes: dream uploads can change or disappear, so treat an address that no longer works as a dated lead rather than a current guarantee.
To visit one, use a bed to enter a dream with Luna and submit the code. The current dream guide also describes searching by island name or choosing a random island, which can help if an old code fails.
What to know before visiting these dream islands
A Dream Address is a code for visiting another player’s shared island in a dream. The addresses below come from iMore’s 2021 roundup; they were not checked for availability in 2026. An island’s creator may have updated or removed its dream upload since the list was published.
In the dream, you can explore and take photos, but the current guide says tools and items found there cannot be carried back to your own island. For updated instructions on entering a dream, searching by island name and seeing island details, consult Nintendo Life’s Dream Addresses guide, updated January 20, 2026.

20 Dream Addresses iMore recommended in 2021
The original roundup is the source for these themes and addresses. Its article contains an address conflict for the Harry Potter entry, so that item is identified separately rather than presenting the conflicting code as certain.
- Magical getaway — DA-4528-4206-7702. Inspired by Shiroi Koibito Park in Japan. The park’s official account invited visitors to its Animal Crossing version in October 2020.
- Resident Evil Villagers — DA-3210-6005-0459. A fan-made island themed around the cast of Resident Evil.
- Ninten Island — DA-6382-1459-4417. Nintendo’s official Mario-themed island, decorated with references to the Super Mario series.
- Skull Isle — DA-4504-5245-5281. A creepy island with Halloween and occult themes.
- Harry Potter world — address uncertain. iMore’s listing header gives DA-4504-5245-5281, while the creator post embedded with the entry gives DA-6012-7480-2940. Because those codes conflict, neither should be treated as a verified address for this island.
- Shrek’s playground. A Shrek-themed island; the roundup highlights the concept.
- Zelda: Link’s Awakening. An island inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening.
- Mermaid Manor. A mermaid-inspired fantasy setting.
- The Small Apple. An island city concept.
- Fairy-tale island. A storybook-inspired setting.
- Onsen town and bathhouse. A Japanese hot-spring town concept.
- Starlight Island. A fantasy-themed destination.
- Nunnalia. One of the other islands featured in the roundup.
- Floating fantasy island. A dreamlike island arranged around a floating-fantasy concept.
- Additional picks from iMore’s roundup. The remaining entries are part of the 20-island selection, but the accessible source notes identify no further theme-and-code pairs clearly enough to reproduce without guessing.
More dated Japanese-themed addresses
A separate video description published January 22, 2021, lists five Japanese-themed islands with creator handles and Dream Addresses. These are additional dated examples, not confirmed-current recommendations.

- Lie down in a bed in your home and choose to sleep.
- When Luna appears, choose the option to dream and enter the Dream Address, including the DA- prefix, when prompted.
- Once the dream loads, explore the island and take photos. Dream visits are separate from your live island; do not expect to bring tools or collected items back.
In the current guide’s account, players can also search by island name or select a random island. Island details can include the upload date, hemisphere, owner name, player-character count and villagers. Availability and exact options may depend on the game version; Nintendo Life’s guide covers the version 3.0 context and current visit flow.

- Take in-game photos of your designs and add them to your portfolio. Show them to other characters and you may get more requests to create vacation homes. Share the photos with other players using the in-game Showroom in the Happy Home Network app and they can tour your personally-designed resort islands or go tour theirs for some relaxation and inspiration.
- Purchase the Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Happy Home Paradise DLC from Nintendo eShop, or download and play it as part of an active Nintendo Switch Online plus Expansion Pack membership at no extra cost.
What to do if a code does not work
- Check that you entered the full code correctly, including every digit and hyphen.
- If name search is available in your dream flow, try the island’s name instead.
- Remember that a creator may have replaced or removed an upload since a 2021 roundup was published.
- For a recently confirmed destination, prefer a creator or official account that has posted an up-to-date address over an older list.
