This 20-minute gameplay video offers a look at Enotria: The Last Song, but it is not the full length of the demo: Jyamma Games advertised an eight-hour demo for PC and PlayStation 5 in May 2024. The demo begins in Quinta, the City of Actors, and showcases a sunlit Soulslike built around masks, chainable parries, swappable builds and reality-shifting Ardore.
What the 20-minute gameplay video shows
The video is a short look at the demo, not a claim that the demo itself lasts 20 minutes. Jyamma Games announced the demo for PC and PlayStation 5 in May 2024 and described it as offering about eight hours of play, starting in Quinta, the City of Actors. Read the demo announcement from Jyamma Games.
The announcement described four weapon classes, six masks, more than 20 spells and 30 perks in the demo. It also highlighted three customizable loadouts that players can swap between while chaining parries. These are the developer’s advertised contents, rather than an independent assessment of every feature shown in the footage.
What kind of game is Enotria?
Enotria: The Last Song is a single-player Soulslike action RPG inspired by Italian history and folklore. Its bright Mediterranean landscapes contrast with a world trapped in an unnatural, endless performance called the Canovaccio. You play as the Maskless One, the only figure not bound to a role in the play, and seek to oppose the Authors and free the world using Ardore. Jyamma Games, a Milan-based independent studio founded in 2019, describes the game as drawing on Italian culture and Commedia dell’arte. See Jyamma Games’ official support FAQ.

How masks, loadouts and combat fit together
Masks shape your role
Masks taken from fallen enemies provide roles and passive abilities. A loadout combines a mask with its associated weapons, parry gem, quick items, Lines and Path of Innovators perks. You can prepare up to three builds and swap among them during play, making loadout changes part of combat rather than a between-level-only choice.
Parries reward timing
Jyamma Games describes the combat as having a chainable parry system. According to the developer FAQ, a partial parry reduces incoming damage; a perfect parry negates damage depending on the equipped gem, deals posture damage that can unravel an enemy, and costs no stamina. The gem therefore affects what a successful parry does, while timing determines whether it is partial or perfect.

- Wield Ardore to alter the world around you.
- Stay on the offensive with quicksteps and chainable parries.
- Strike foes to charge powerful magical Lines.
- Strategically swap between up to three Loadouts at any time.
- Break an enemies posture for a devastating attack, granting you a mighty Awakened buff.
Lines and spells add options
Lines are spells dropped by enemies and charged through attacking. The demo announcement advertised more than 20 spells and 30 perks, while the full-game announcement listed 45 spells. Those are separate developer counts for different scopes: the larger figure describes the full game, not what the demo promised.
Ardore changes the environment
Ardore lets the Maskless One alter environmental states. Jyamma Games says these shifts can help solve puzzles, expose secrets and affect combat, linking exploration and fighting through the same world-changing ability.

Demo and full-game scope are not the same
The demo announcement and full-game feature announcement give different counts because they describe different versions and scopes. Jyamma Games’ 2024 full-game announcement listed over 30 masks, 68 skills, over 120 weapons, eight weapon classes, 45 spells and eight parry modifiers. These are developer feature counts, not independent evaluations or a description of what is available in the demo. See the full-game announcement from Jyamma Games.
Platforms and release context
The demo was announced for PC and PlayStation 5; the announcement does not list Xbox as a demo platform. For the full game, Jyamma Games’ FAQ lists PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The studio’s September 2024 launch notice said the game was then available on PC through Steam and Epic Games Store, as well as PS5. Its press-kit archive records a physical edition becoming available for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on April 10, 2025. View the official press-kit archive.

The official FAQ describes Enotria as a single-player game and estimates about 40 hours for one playthrough. That is the developer’s estimate; it says completionists and less experienced players may take longer.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What to watch for in the footage
- Mask and passive ability: Notice which role the current mask supplies and how it complements the weapons.
- Loadout changes: Watch for swaps between the three prepared builds and what changes alongside the mask.
- Parry timing: Look for the difference between a partial parry and a perfect one, including how the equipped gem affects the payoff.
- Lines and spells: Consider how enemy-dropped, attack-charged Lines fit into the player’s other combat options.
- Ardore: Watch for environmental shifts used to alter an encounter or interact with the surroundings.
