These are conversions of Riot’s published 8:00 a.m. PT time for October 7, 2025; Riot did not publish a complete time-zone schedule. Local times reflect the daylight-saving rules in effect on that date.
When did 2XKO Early Access release?
Riot announced that 2XKO Early Access would begin October 7, 2025. Its Season 0 patch notes specified that patch 1.0.1 went live at 8:00 a.m. PT that day. Early Access was described as the game’s first full-feature version, with a full season of content and combo trials. Why some players saw October 8
The release happened at the same moment worldwide, but the local calendar date depended on location. In Japan, the conversion lands at midnight on October 8, while the PT reference date remains October 7. That date change is a time-zone conversion, not a separate regional launch.

What the 2025 launch announcement said
Riot’s October 6, 2025 statement from Executive Producer Tom Cannon said, “Just one day from now, 2XKO will enter Early Access!” Cannon described Early Access at the time as a phase in which Riot planned to make changes live before an official launch once the game and its competitive ecosystem were in good shape. The Season 0 notes also said there would be no more account resets starting with Early Access. They described console support as still in development then, with PC progress intended to carry over when console play became available; that note reflects the situation Riot reported in October 2025, not current platform availability.
