Upsets.gg’s October 3, 2026 snapshot names bleed as the top player. The page says its rankings are based on player performance at ranked events, rather than a player’s current matchmaking rating in 2XKO.

What do SonicFox and Cloud805’s tournament results show?
Tournament placements provide a separate measure of competitive performance and do not determine the positions in the Upsets.gg snapshot. Liquipedia records SonicFox finishing second at Evolution Championship Series 2026, first at Combo Breaker 2026, and seventh–eighth at CEO 2026. Its Cloud805 record lists 33rd–48th at Evolution Championship Series 2026 and second at the April 2026 Twitch Rivals 2XKO Tag Team Throwdown showmatch. Is 2XKO Ranked still available?
No. Riot said in-game Ranked lobbies would be disabled with patch 1.3.1 on September 8, 2026. The announcement said Casual lobbies would keep skill-based matchmaking and private lobbies would be unaffected. This change concerns the game’s matchmaking modes; it does not erase external event-performance rankings such as Upsets.gg’s list. Riot’s 2XKO news and updates.
How Riot planned to support 2XKO competition
Riot’s December 5, 2025 competitive plan described five Major and 15 Challenger events across five in-game seasons, with one Major and three Challenger events associated with each season. Riot said it would support existing community fighting-game events through funding, promotion on official channels, and prize-pool support. Riot also reported that more than 1,500 community tournaments had appeared since Early Access began in October; that was the company’s count as of the December 2025 post, not a current total. What Riot has said about the game’s future
In an August 20, 2026 lifecycle announcement, Riot said active development would conclude at the end of 2026, while servers would remain online and the game would stay playable on all platforms. Riot also said engagement had remained relatively flat despite larger updates. That announcement provides context for the game’s competitive future, but does not establish a current player count or a head-to-head rivalry between SonicFox and Cloud805.
