Treat them as players to investigate in your squad, not a definitive ranking—their exact attributes and roles can vary with the database your save uses.
Why your FM24 database matters
FM24’s player profiles are not identical across every database. Sports Interactive’s Main Data Update notice says the update changed player Current Ability ratings and attributes, and that a new save is required to use the updated player and team data. Its Final Data Update notice also distinguishes gameplay changes, which can affect existing careers, from updated player and team data, which require a new save.

So before planning around a role, check the profile in the save you intend to play. A launch database and a later updated database may present a player differently.
Jack Rudoni: a central-creation option
Rudoni is the shortlist’s candidate for a save built around creativity through midfield or behind the attack. He appears on the EFL’s 2023/24 Huddersfield Town squad list, and is also included in the Sortitoutsi Huddersfield FM24 guide.

Use that as a reason to inspect his in-game profile, not as proof of a particular attribute, preferred role or development ceiling. If your system needs a creator, see whether his position and strengths in your chosen database support that job before making him the centre of your plans.
Sorba Thomas: a wide attacking option
Thomas adds a different attacking profile to Rudoni. He is listed for Huddersfield in the EFL’s 2023/24 squad list and appears in the same specialist FM24 guide. That makes him a sensible player to assess if your tactic needs an attacking outlet from a wide area.

Check his position and role in your save rather than assuming a specific deployment. Whether he fits depends on your formation and the profile shown in that database.
Delano Burgzorg: another forward option to assess
Burgzorg appears in the Huddersfield FM24 guide, giving the shortlist a forward or wide-attacking possibility alongside Thomas. The cited EFL squad list does not establish his registration, so use the in-game squad in your selected database to confirm his status and role.

That distinction matters when starting a save: the guide provides FM24 context, but it is not a version-controlled comparison of player attributes, contracts or availability.

- Need central creativity? Start by inspecting Rudoni’s profile and whether his listed position and attributes suit the role your tactic requires.
- Need a wide attacking option? Compare Thomas and Burgzorg in your save, then choose based on the positions and roles actually available to them.
- Want to use updated player data? Start a new save with the relevant update; Sports Interactive says updated player and team data do not carry over to an existing save.
- Making a long-term plan? Check attributes, potential, value and contract terms directly in-game. The available sources do not establish a consistent, version-matched comparison across those categories.
The specialist guide supports considering all three in a Huddersfield FM24 context, while the EFL list independently confirms Rudoni and Thomas on Huddersfield’s 2023/24 squad list. That evidence makes this a practical shortlist—not a statistically proven ranking of the club’s best players.
