These four apps connect mobile gaming to cryptocurrency in different ways: Battle Derby and Wild Forest have blockchain or NFT features, ACR Poker accepts crypto for real-money play, and Life2App is an activity game whose current store listings do not clearly confirm a cryptocurrency or cash-out system. A token or NFT feature is not a promise of income, and availability or features can vary by country and change over time.
What counts as a cryptocurrency gaming app?
The label covers several different products. A blockchain game may use NFTs or tokens as in-game assets; a crypto-enabled platform may simply accept cryptocurrency for deposits; and a move-to-earn app may offer ordinary points or virtual rewards for activity. Those categories are not interchangeable. In particular, an in-app reward is not cryptocurrency unless the developer identifies a token or a way to redeem it.
Likewise, owning an NFT does not guarantee that it can be sold, that anyone will want to buy it, or that it has a reliable market value. The four apps below should be judged by what their current listings and official information establish—not by the broad promise implied by “play to earn.”

Battle Derby: car combat with NFT and token support
What the game is
Battle Derby is a free-to-download multiplayer car-combat game built around battle-royale play, quests, cars, and upgrades. Its Google Play listing describes the conventional gameplay and in-game coins. The U.S. App Store listing is also live and requires iOS 14.5 or later.

Where crypto enters
The App Store version history says the game added support for mainnet tokens and NFTs. That is evidence of Web3 functionality, but the current store descriptions do not explain how to acquire those assets, whether a wallet is required for ordinary play, or how any asset could be sold or withdrawn. Treat the blockchain features as a separate layer from the game’s normal coins and upgrades.
A March 31, 2025 Phandroid article described lending NFT cars in exchange for BattlePoints. That is an older account of a particular mechanic, not a guarantee that it remains available or produces a transferable reward. Battle Derby is best described as NFT-enabled, not as a dependable way to earn money.

ACR Poker: crypto-funded poker, not a conventional crypto game
How mobile access works
ACR Poker is an online poker and gambling platform. Its official homepage advertises iOS and Android access and refers to Bitcoin, Ethereum, and USDT-related payment options. However, its download page prominently describes a mobile web app that needs no download and can be bookmarked to a phone’s home screen. A bookmarked web app is not the same thing as installing a native app from Google Play or the App Store.
What crypto does—and the risks
Here, cryptocurrency is principally a payment method for real-money poker, rather than a token or NFT that forms part of the game. The 2025 Phandroid article claimed the platform accepted more than 60 cryptocurrencies; the current official information cited here does not establish a complete, dated list, so do not rely on that count.

Poker involves the risk of losing money, and using crypto does not reduce that risk. Age requirements, gambling laws, and platform availability vary by jurisdiction; check local rules and the operator’s current terms before registering or depositing. Do not treat winnings or withdrawals as guaranteed.

Token and wallet limits
The 2025 Phandroid article describes collectible items, marketplace activity, NFTs, and $WF rewards associated with the Ronin ecosystem. The current store listings do not provide enough detail to confirm present token availability, marketplace rules, wallet requirements, or cash-out procedures. Do not assume that playing earns a withdrawable token or that an item can be sold for a particular amount.
Some recent Google Play reviews report trouble logging in through Sky Mavis or connecting Ronin Wallet. These are individual user reports, not proof of a widespread defect, but they are a practical reason to avoid sending assets until you have confirmed the correct account and network. Install wallet software only from official sources, never share a seed phrase, and test with a small amount before any larger transfer.

Life2App: activity rewards, with crypto status unclear
What the current listings describe
Life2App is presented in its current Google Play listing as an activity and map-based game. It describes movement tracking and activities such as walking, running, hiking, cycling, driving, map exploration, missions, achievements, leaderboards, avatar upgrades, gems, and rewards. An App Store listing is also available.
Why it is not confirmed as a crypto app
The 2025 Phandroid article described Life2App as a move-to-earn app with token rewards. Its current store description, however, emphasizes in-app progression and rewards without clearly naming a cryptocurrency token or a cash-out mechanism. It is therefore more accurate to call it an activity-reward game with an earlier token claim than to present current crypto earnings as established.
Because the app uses movement and map features, review its location permissions and privacy disclosures before enabling tracking. Rewards tied to activity should not be assumed to be cash or transferable crypto.
Before installing or connecting a wallet
- Use official download routes. Get games from their official store listings or the operator’s own domain. Avoid unofficial APKs and wallet links sent through messages or social posts.
- Check what a reward actually is. Look for the named asset, transferability, withdrawal method, minimums, fees, and applicable country restrictions. If those details are not stated, treat the reward as an in-app item rather than cash.
- Keep Web3 experiments separate. If a game requires a wallet, consider using a separate wallet with only the funds you can afford to risk. Verify the network and destination before signing or transferring.
- Protect account credentials. Never disclose a seed phrase or private key to a game operator, support agent, or website. A wallet connection does not require giving another person your recovery phrase.
- Account for financial and personal-data risks. Tokens can lose value, NFTs may be illiquid, gambling can result in losses, and activity apps may request location data. Check applicable gambling, tax, and privacy rules for your location.
Which one should you choose?
For an actual strategy game with a blockchain association, Wild Forest has the clearest combined gameplay and ecosystem description, though current wallet and marketplace details remain limited. Battle Derby is the more action-focused option and has explicit App Store history mentioning mainnet tokens and NFTs, but its current crypto mechanics are not fully documented. ACR Poker belongs on this list only as a crypto-enabled gambling platform. Life2App may appeal to people who want movement-based progression, but its current listings do not establish an active cryptocurrency economy.
