How to choose among them for your save
- Need an attacking high-upside target? Start your scouting with Gnonto, the highest-potential player in this four-player group.
- Can you develop a lower-rated prospect? Rigg begins at 61 overall, so he is the more gradual project on the list.
- Want a higher starting rating? Bellingham and van den Berg are both listed at 70 overall. Confirm van den Berg’s position in your chosen squad database before deciding whether he fits a specific defensive role.
- Prefer permanent signings? The source list says it focused on players permanently contracted to Championship clubs and excluded loanees such as Ashley Phillips and Ben Doak. That is a useful filter if you want signings rather than temporary options, but it is not a requirement for every Career Mode save.
The available player list does not establish transfer fees or wages, so compare each player’s terms and availability inside your own save rather than assuming a signing is affordable.

Check the squad update before you scout
Club, rating, and availability can change with the squad file. EA says squad updates provide the latest transfers and player ratings and gives this menu path for downloading them: Settings → Edit Teams → Download Updates. Its Career Mode guide also describes Manager Career as covering club management, tactics, transfers, finances, and player development.
- Open Settings from the game’s main menu.
- Select Edit Teams.
- Choose Download Updates, then load or start a Career Mode save using the squad data you want.
- Search for the player in that save and confirm club, overall, potential, position, and loan or permanent status before planning a transfer.
A separately surfaced top-ten article states that its list used the April 16, 2025 squad update and included real-face players from clubs such as Leeds, Burnley, and Stoke City. Its full player entries could not be verified, so that page does not establish a dependable set of ten names. This guide therefore gives the four players whose details are available rather than filling the rest of a top ten with unverified picks.

Cross-check ratings and broaden the shortlist
For another view of FC 25 Career Mode players, FUTWIZ’s wonderkid database offers filters including age, overall rating, potential, position, and real-face status. Match its results to the same game database or squad update before comparing values; a database filter is a way to explore candidates, not proof that an older list’s numbers still apply.
FourFourTwo’s position-organized guide, dated October 18, 2024, lists Archie Gray at 73 overall and 87 potential and notes that he impressed in the Championship before moving to Tottenham. He is useful context for FC 25’s wider young-player pool, but that evidence does not make him an active Championship-club signing recommendation.

Why this is not a verified top 10
The requested title suggests ten current names, but the available evidence substantiates four Championship-club players and does not verify the entries in the separate April 2025 top-ten list. The four-player shortlist is consequently more reliable than presenting six additional names, ratings, or transfer claims without a matching FC 25 database check.
