6 Best Free FiveM Server Hosting Providers in 2026: What Is Actually Free?

Free FiveM hosting is rarely free forever. Compare Gaming4Free, Server.pro, Nodecraft, GratisVPS, Nodewave, and PrincHub by resources, renewal rules, card requirements, and realistic use cases.
World2026: What Is Actually Free? Length17 min Posted Quest giverVGSources Team
Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Short answer: free FiveM hosting exists, but the six offers commonly grouped together are not equivalent. Gaming4Free is a renewable free option for small tests, Server.pro and Nodecraft are time-limited trials, GratisVPS offers a larger 120-day trial, Nodewave is approval-based, and PrincHub advertises a free-forever tier with only 250 MB of RAM. None should automatically be treated as reliable 24/7 hosting for a serious public roleplay server.

This guide was rechecked on August 10, 2026. The original topic referred to April 2026, but free-tier limits, availability, billing terms, and application rules can change quickly.

The honest answer: “free FiveM hosting” usually has a catch

There are not six clearly verified, permanent, production-ready free FiveM hosts. The market combines renewable leases, application-only offers, short trials, general-purpose cloud credits, and small free tiers that may be suitable only for experiments.

That distinction matters because a server that costs nothing for 24 hours is not the same as a server that stays online indefinitely. Likewise, a cloud provider offering $300 in introductory credit is not offering free managed FiveM hosting. You may still need to install FXServer, configure Linux, secure the machine, open ports, maintain a database, and cancel before billing begins.

40 Pcs/20 Set Rack Mount Screws and Cage Nuts for Server Rack Cabinet, Black Carbon Steel M6 x 20 mm Screws with Nylon Washers and Cage Nuts, Rack Mount Hardware for Server Racks/Shelves/Cabinets
  • Durable Carbon Steel: Rack mount screws and cage nuts are made of high-quality carbon steel with a black finish for high strength and dependable durability.
  • Easy Installation: Clear metric threads and uniform pitch for better grip. Nylon washers help secure screws and protect equipment surfaces.
  • Organized Storage: All parts are packed in a portable storage box for easy organization and access.
  • Wide Compatibility: Fits most square-hole racks and cabinets—ideal for server racks, network cabinets, equipment enclosures, and A/V gear.
  • 20-Set Kit: Includes 20 mounting screws with nylon washers (M6 x 20 mm) and 20 square cage nuts—40 pieces in total—meeting daily install and replacement needs.

The safest way to read this list is to treat each provider according to its actual model:

  • Permanent or renewable free: no scheduled paid conversion, but the service may require periodic renewal or fair-use compliance.
  • Conditional free: approval, project selection, Discord requirements, availability, or another eligibility condition applies.
  • Free trial: free for a defined period and then expired or converted to a paid service.
  • Not actually free: a VPS credit, money-back offer, or card-based trial that can become billable.

FiveM’s official hosting page currently lists GPORTAL, Shockbyte, Nitrado, Nodecraft, xREALM, and ZAP-Hosting as authorized hosting partners. None is presented there as a permanently free host. Cfx.re describes hosting providers as the easiest setup route, but a free Cfx.re license key is still required, and more than 48 players requires Element Club Argentum or above.

Quick comparison

The specifications below are the providers’ advertised allocations or terms, not independent benchmarks. “Supports FiveM” does not guarantee that a particular ESX, QBCore, map, vehicle pack, voice resource, or database will run well.

Provider Category Advertised resources Duration or renewal Card or approval Best use
Gaming4Free Renewable free 3 GB RAM, 10 GB SSD, 12 slots Three-hour initial period; leases of up to 24 hours, extended by watching advertisements No card advertised Private sessions and small development tests
Server.pro Time-limited demo 2 GB RAM, 2 CPU cores, 8 GB disk Limited demo; exact duration should be confirmed at signup No card advertised for the initial trial Testing a familiar hosting panel
Nodecraft Official-partner trial FiveM panel, txAdmin, resource installation, full file access, database generation 24 hours without a card or seven days with payment details Phone verification may be required; card needed for the longer trial Evaluating managed hosting before paying
GratisVPS 120-day trial 6 GB RAM, 2 AMD Ryzen cores, 120 GB NVMe 120 days No card stated on the offer page Temporary, higher-resource development environment
Nodewave Approval-based free offer Limited slots, txAdmin, one-click resources; exact RAM not clearly disclosed Provisioned server expires after 48 hours, according to the page Verified Discord account at least 30 days old; availability and fair-use approval Selected community projects and short evaluations
PrincHub Free-forever micro-tier 250 MB RAM, 1 GB disk, 10 slots, 30% CPU Advertised as free forever No card advertised Very small technical experiments

Confidence note: these are current public-page claims gathered for this comparison. The dossier does not include independent uptime, latency, player-capacity, support-response, or stress testing. Treat claims such as “lag-free,” “unlimited,” and large DDoS figures as marketing unless you verify them yourself.

1. Gaming4Free — best genuine no-card option for a small test

Gaming4Free’s free FiveM tier is the closest match to what most readers mean by free hosting without a payment card. It advertises:

  • 3 GB of RAM;
  • 12 player slots;
  • 10 GB of SSD storage;
  • ESX, QBCore, vRP, vanilla FiveM, and txAdmin support;
  • file-manager and SFTP uploads; and
  • no credit card requirement.

The important qualification is the uptime model. The provider describes an initial free period of three hours, followed by renewable leases lasting up to 24 hours. Extensions are earned by watching advertisements. Files are reportedly preserved for seven days after expiry.

That makes Gaming4Free a renewable free service, not guaranteed 24/7 hosting. If the lease expires during an event, the server may stop. The page describes the tier as indefinite, but “indefinite while continually renewed” is materially different from an always-online plan.

Good uses

  • Learning txAdmin and the FiveM resource structure;
  • hosting a private session for a few friends;
  • testing a small selection of scripts;
  • trying ESX, QBCore, vRP, or a vanilla recipe; and
  • building a prototype before moving to paid hosting.

Questions to answer before relying on it

  • Can the lease be renewed automatically, or must somebody watch advertisements manually?
  • What happens to the database when the lease expires?
  • Can you download a complete SQL dump and all resource files?
  • Does the free tier allow public listing, custom server icons, and community use?
  • Are the advertised US, European, and Asian locations available to free users?
  • Does a seven-day preservation window cover both files and databases?

Verdict: this is the most practical first stop for a tiny no-card experiment, provided you accept the renewal burden and maintain your own backups. Do not promise low ping, lag-free play, or public-server uptime based solely on the provider’s page.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

2. Server.pro — best established free demo, not free-forever hosting

Server.pro lists FiveM among its supported games and exposes a free plan with 2 GB of RAM, two CPU cores, and 8 GB of disk space. Its pricing page explicitly calls the $0 plan a time-limited demo.

That wording should control how it is described: Server.pro is a free demo, not a permanent free FiveM host. The public pricing information does not clearly state the exact demo length, so confirm the expiry date and any conversion terms during account creation.

Why choose it

  • It is a relatively established hosting service compared with many small free-hosting pages.
  • It offers a way to test a hosted FiveM deployment without immediately committing to a monthly plan.
  • 2 GB may be enough for a basic vanilla or lightly scripted test.

Limitations

  • Two gigabytes can become restrictive with a full ESX or QBCore resource stack.
  • The demo is unsuitable for an always-online community.
  • Database availability, retention, and backup terms should be checked rather than assumed.
  • The free period may end before a serious server has been properly evaluated.

Verdict: choose Server.pro when you want to test the control panel and FiveM deployment process through a comparatively established provider. Do not call it free-forever hosting.

3. Nodecraft — best official Cfx.re partner trial

Nodecraft’s FiveM page identifies it as an official Cfx.re server provider. The trial is useful for evaluating a polished managed-hosting workflow, but it is still only a trial.

AL01 Open Frame Computer case DIY PC Test Bench for ATX M-Board,1Pc
  • Premium Construction: Made of upgraded 0.8mm thick SPCC steel plate with folded edge reinforcement and triangular reinforcing plates, greatly improving overall structural stability. Finished with scratch-resistant black sand grain paint for long service life.
  • Broad Mainboard Compatibility: Supports ATX, Micro ATX and ITX motherboards within 305*245mm. Extended 440mm width design fits server cabinet installation. Extended baseboard option available for E-ATX dual server motherboards.
  • Flexible Graphics Card Installation: No restriction on the length and width of graphics cards according to your motherboard layout, ideal for multi-GPU testing and hardware overclock setup.
  • Standard ATX Power Supply Support: Compatible with regular ATX power supplies (reference dimension: 150mm86mm(140-250)mm). Reserved cable routing holes support rear cable management for tidy wiring.
  • Wide Application Scenarios: Open-air frame design delivers outstanding heat dissipation. Perfect for DIY hardware testing, overclocking verification, gaming setup and computer maintenance work.

Nodecraft advertises:

  • a 24-hour trial without a credit card;
  • a seven-day trial when payment details are entered;
  • txAdmin integration;
  • resource installation;
  • a web panel and full file access; and
  • database generation.

The trial is subject to availability, and the page says phone verification is required for eligibility. The paid FiveM plans shown on the page include 2 GB, 3 GB, and 6 GB options, with promotional pricing that changes after the first month. Check the current checkout terms rather than relying on an old price.

Best reason to use Nodecraft’s trial

A short trial can answer questions that specifications cannot: Is the panel easy to use? Can you install resources without support? Is the backup and file workflow understandable? Can you export the configuration and database before moving elsewhere? These are valuable tests if you may eventually pay for managed hosting.

Billing warning

The 24-hour no-card trial is the safer option for readers who do not want a billing relationship. The seven-day trial requires payment details, so read the conversion and cancellation terms carefully. A trial should be used to evaluate the service, not as a way to keep a public server online indefinitely.

Verdict: Nodecraft is the strongest choice for testing an official-partner managed panel, but it is not a permanently free provider.

4. GratisVPS — largest disclosed temporary allocation

GratisVPS advertises a free FiveM server with:

  • 6 GB of DDR5 RAM;
  • two AMD Ryzen CPU cores;
  • 120 GB of NVMe storage;
  • FTP and database access;
  • DDoS protection; and
  • a provider-stated recommendation of up to 32 slots.

The offer is valid for 120 days. Although the headline presents it as free hosting, the page later describes it as a 120-day free trial. No credit card is required according to the offer page.

Where it fits

Among the listed offers, the advertised allocation is generous for a temporary development environment. It could be useful for testing a larger collection of resources, moving a framework between hosts, or demonstrating a build for several weeks.

What the specification does not prove

  • Six gigabytes of RAM does not guarantee smooth performance if CPU time is shared or oversubscribed.
  • “Recommended for 32 slots” is a provider statement, not an independently tested capacity.
  • DDoS protection, OneSync compatibility, and 24/7 support should be treated as provider claims unless supported by a documented service commitment.
  • The server ends after 120 days, so a migration plan is required from the beginning.

Verdict: GratisVPS is one of the more generous disclosed free trials for a temporary build. It is not a long-term free home for an established community.

5. Nodewave — application-based free hosting for selected projects

Nodewave advertises free FiveM servers for promising projects. The page mentions AMD Ryzen 9950X nodes, limited slots, DDoS protection, txAdmin, and one-click resource installation. Access is subject to availability, fair-use rules, and approval.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

The eligibility requirements are more restrictive than an ordinary instant free plan:

  • sign-in through Discord;
  • a verified Discord account;
  • an account at least 30 days old; and
  • selection or approval for the free offer.

The public page also says that a provisioned server expires after 48 hours. It does not clearly disclose the exact RAM allocation, player limit, storage capacity, region list, backup policy, or whether the 48-hour period can be renewed.

The page’s “200+ Tbps DDoS protection” figure should be attributed to Nodewave and not treated as a measured guarantee. Likewise, a high-end node model does not tell you how much CPU, memory, or disk capacity an individual free server receives.

Verdict: Nodewave is worth considering only if you have a qualifying project and can tolerate a short evaluation window. It should be labeled an application-based offer, not a standard free host available to everyone.

AL01 Open Frame Computer case DIY PC Test Bench for ATX M-Board,2Pcs
  • Premium Construction: Made of upgraded 0.8mm thick SPCC steel plate with folded edge reinforcement and triangular reinforcing plates, greatly improving overall structural stability. Finished with scratch-resistant black sand grain paint for long service life.
  • Broad Mainboard Compatibility: Supports ATX, Micro ATX and ITX motherboards within 305*245mm. Extended 440mm width design fits server cabinet installation. Extended baseboard option available for E-ATX dual server motherboards.

  • Wide Application Scenarios: Open-air frame design delivers outstanding heat dissipation. Perfect for DIY hardware testing, overclocking verification, gaming setup and computer maintenance work.

6. PrincHub — transparent free-forever tier with a severe resource limit

PrincHub advertises a free package with:

  • 250 MB of RAM;
  • 1 GB of disk space;
  • 10 player slots;
  • 30% CPU;
  • a free UK node;
  • DDoS protection; and
  • no credit card requirement.

The provider says the tier is free forever and can be deployed quickly. However, the resource allocation is the decisive fact. 250 MB of RAM is unlikely to accommodate a realistic ESX or QBCore server with a database, voice resources, maps, vehicles, and multiple scripts. That is a practical inference from the advertised allocation, not a published FiveM minimum.

PrincHub may still be useful for a minimal technical experiment, a bare test of server startup, or learning how resources are arranged. It should not be marketed as a sensible way to launch a conventional roleplay city.

Verdict: PrincHub is one of the few publicly advertised free-forever tiers, but its micro-allocation makes it a poor choice for anything beyond an extremely small experiment.

Offers that should not be presented as ordinary free hosting

Kamatera: a card-based cloud trial

Kamatera offers one cloud server with up to $100 of service value for 30 days, plus up to 1 TB of traffic during the trial. A valid credit card is required. According to Kamatera’s trial terms, users can be charged if they exceed the limits or fail to cancel. Its own billing guidance explains how trial usage can become billable.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

This is a legitimate option for a temporary, self-managed cloud VPS, but the correct label is cloud VPS trial, not free FiveM hosting.

Google Cloud: credits and a tiny Always Free VM

Google Cloud’s free program gives eligible new users $300 in credit for 90 days. Its continuing Compute Engine allowance includes one e2-micro instance in specified US regions, 30 GB of standard persistent disk, and 1 GB of outbound transfer per month, as described in the Compute Engine documentation.

This is a self-managed cloud VM, not a managed FiveM panel. The e2-micro allocation is a poor fit for a serious modded server; that conclusion follows from its tiny shared instance and 1 GB of memory, rather than from an official FiveM minimum.

Oracle Cloud: generous-looking resources with architecture traps

Oracle Cloud’s Free Tier includes AMD micro instances and Ampere A1 Arm instances. The current Always Free resource documentation states that the A1 allowance is equivalent to two OCPUs and 12 GB of memory for Always Free tenancies. The introductory trial provides $300 for up to 30 days. Signup generally requires a phone number and credit card.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

The architecture must be checked before deployment. FiveM’s official Linux setup identifies the server artifact as cfx-server-linux_x64 and recommends an x86-64 system. Therefore, an Oracle Arm A1 instance should not be presented as a straightforward FiveM solution merely because it offers more free memory.

VPSWala: contradictory public claims

VPSWala’s free FiveM page combines incompatible claims, including unlimited player slots and OneSync Infinity, 128-plus-player support, a free allocation of 2 GB RAM and 10 GB storage with 32 slots, credit-card verification, txAdmin, MySQL, and “24/7” free hosting.

Because the page appears to mix free-tier and premium language, it should not be ranked confidently without completing signup, confirming the actual allocation, checking billing terms, testing deployment, and obtaining current written clarification from support. Testimonials using stock-looking profile images are not evidence of performance, uptime, or genuine customer results.

Host2Play: potentially useful, but current evidence is stale

An August 2024 LowEndSpirit announcement described Host2Play’s free offer as two shared vCPUs, 1 GB RAM, 3 GB SSD, free MySQL, one-click txAdmin, an eight-hour renewal cycle, a Sweden location, and deletion after seven days of inactivity. The post said no card was required.

  • Effortless and efficient installation - With precise threads and a smooth design, these M6 screws allow easy insertion and secure attachment, optimise the installation process and improve work efficiency

That is an old forum announcement rather than a current official plan page. Treat Host2Play as a verify-before-signing-up candidate, not as a confirmed current recommendation.

What to check before choosing a free FiveM host

1. The real cost and expiry condition

Ask whether the offer is genuinely free, renewable, conditional, or merely a trial. Look for:

  • automatic renewal or manual lease renewal;
  • advertising or other tasks required to extend service;
  • credit-card requirements;
  • automatic conversion to a paid plan;
  • cancellation deadlines;
  • fair-use limits; and
  • the exact deletion date after expiry or inactivity.

2. RAM, CPU, and storage that are actually usable

There is no universal RAM number that guarantees a good FiveM experience. Memory and performance depend on the framework, resource quality, database activity, maps, vehicle packs, voice system, player count, server artifact, and script efficiency.

As a practical guide, 250 MB is an experimental allocation, 2–3 GB may suit a small vanilla or lightly scripted test, and 6 GB gives more room for a temporary development environment. None of those figures guarantees a particular player count. Consistent CPU performance can matter as much as RAM, especially when a host heavily shares its hardware.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

3. Database access and retention

Do not assume that “FiveM support” includes a usable database. Check separately for:

  • MySQL or MariaDB;
  • database size limits;
  • phpMyAdmin or another administration tool;
  • external connection access;
  • automatic database backups;
  • SQL export tools;
  • credential rotation; and
  • database deletion when a lease or trial ends.

For an ESX or QBCore project, the database can contain the most valuable player data. Export it independently instead of relying on a provider’s promise to preserve the server directory.

4. File and configuration access

A useful FiveM host should let you upload resource folders through a file manager or SFTP, edit server.cfg, manage dependencies, and access the server console. “Supports ESX” or “supports QBCore” may mean a one-click recipe, a provider-written template, or simply that manual installation is permitted. Those are very different levels of support.

5. Portability and backups

Before installing a major framework, confirm that you can download:

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
  • server.cfg and other configuration files;
  • all resource folders;
  • txAdmin data and permissions;
  • SQL database dumps;
  • custom maps, vehicles, and assets;
  • identifiers and access settings; and
  • any provider-specific startup configuration.

Restore the backup on a local machine or another host at least once. A backup that has never been restored is only an assumption.

6. Region, networking, and security

Choose a region close to most players, but do not infer latency from a provider’s region list or marketing copy. Test from the actual player locations. Also check IPv4 availability, firewall controls, admin-panel security, DDoS terms, and whether the provider has a status page or meaningful uptime commitment.

How to set up a hosted FiveM server

  1. Create a Cfx.re account and license key. FiveM’s official setup documentation explains that a free license key must be registered through the Cfx.re Portal.
  2. Confirm architecture and compatibility. For a self-managed Linux deployment, verify x86-64 compatibility and use a current official server artifact. Do not assume that an Arm cloud VM will run the standard FiveM Linux artifact.
  3. Select the closest practical region. Balance player geography, available capacity, IPv4 access, and the host’s actual free-tier locations.
  4. Create the server and enter the license key. A standard configuration includes:
    sv_licenseKey "YOUR_CFX_LICENSE_KEY"
  5. Set the player cap conservatively. For example:
    sv_maxclients 12

    The value must not exceed both the free host’s allocation and the applicable Cfx.re entitlement. Cfx.re states that more than 48 players requires Element Club Argentum or above.

  6. Deploy a basic txAdmin recipe. Where available, use txAdmin to manage the live console, players, scheduled restarts, permissions, and resources. The txAdmin project is part of FXServer, and the official txAdmin setup guide covers the setup path.
  7. Upload resources one group at a time. Put each resource in the correct resources directory and add its required start or ensure line to server.cfg. Follow the resource’s documentation because dependencies, database imports, and start order vary.
  8. Test a clean baseline first. Start with the default recipe, connect one player, and add resources gradually. This makes crashes, script conflicts, missing dependencies, and memory spikes easier to identify.
  9. Back up before every major change. Export both files and databases, not just a screenshot of the control panel.
  10. Test restoration elsewhere. If the free lease expires or the host disappears, you should be able to move the server without rebuilding it from memory.

Self-hosting: the genuinely free alternative

If you already own a suitable computer and have an internet connection, self-hosting can avoid a new monthly hosting bill. It is not literally cost-free in every situation: electricity, hardware wear, bandwidth, and a static IP or other networking solution may cost money. More importantly, you become the host’s administrator.

Using the official Windows, Linux, or txAdmin setup documentation, you must handle:

  • DDoS exposure.

Self-hosting can be excellent for development, LAN play, and friends-only sessions. It is less suitable for a public community hosted from a home connection, particularly if player data, uptime, or network security matters.

Is free hosting suitable for a public RP server?

Usually not. A free tier may be fine for a prototype, but a public roleplay server normally needs predictable CPU performance, 24/7 uptime, database backups, a stable region, support, and a migration path. Free offers commonly impose low memory, shared CPU, low slot limits, sleep or expiry timers, limited regions, weak backup policies, no uptime commitment, renewal tasks, or provider-discontinuation risk.

Use case Free hosting suitability Recommended approach
Private session with friends Good if a lease or trial ending is acceptable Gaming4Free or self-hosting
Script and resource development Good, provided files and SQL are backed up Gaming4Free, Server.pro, Nodecraft, or GratisVPS
Framework evaluation or staging Good for a temporary build GratisVPS for more advertised resources; Nodecraft for managed-panel evaluation
Small public community Risky Use free hosting only as a staging environment and plan a paid move
Serious RP city, monetized community, or paid staff Poor fit Use paid hosting or a properly managed VPS

When to move to paid hosting

Upgrade as soon as any of these become important:

  • players expect the server to be online every day;
  • you are running public events;
  • the database contains irreplaceable player progress;
  • voice, maps, vehicles, and scripts create sustained load;
  • you need predictable CPU rather than a shared allocation;
  • you need scheduled and downloadable backups;
  • you require priority support or a status page;
  • the server has paid staff, donations, or other monetization; or
  • you cannot tolerate a provider changing or removing the free plan.

Before paying, verify that the new host supports the same server artifact, database engine, resource structure, region, and file-export process. A provider with a slightly smaller advertised plan but clean migration tools may be safer than a larger free allocation that cannot be exported.

How this list differs from generic “free FiveM hosting” articles

Many comparison pages call every free trial a free host. For example, an August 2026 HostAdvice list includes Kamatera, VPSServer, IONOS, Hostinger, Ultahost, and InterServer, but its own descriptions acknowledge that Kamatera and VPSServer are trials, Hostinger has no permanent free tier, Ultahost has no formal free plan, and InterServer starts as a paid service.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

That coverage can be useful when comparing trials, but it should not be presented as six permanent free options. This comparison also separates official Cfx.re partners from unofficial providers. Not appearing on Cfx.re’s authorized-host list does not automatically prove that a provider is unsafe; it simply means the provider should not be called an official Cfx.re partner.

Finally, advertised RAM, slot counts, DDoS capacity, “unlimited players,” testimonials, and “lag-free” language are not substitutes for independent testing. The available research does not document benchmark results, verified uptime, measured latency, simultaneous-player tests, or support response times for these providers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a truly free FiveM server host with no expiration?

PrincHub publicly advertises a free-forever tier, but its 250 MB RAM and 1 GB disk allocation make it suitable only for a very small experiment. Gaming4Free describes its free tier as indefinite, but the service uses renewable leases of up to 24 hours, so it is not guaranteed 24/7 hosting.

Can I run ESX or QBCore on free FiveM hosting?

Possibly, but “supports ESX” or “supports QBCore” may mean only that manual installation is permitted. Check for SFTP or file-manager access, editable server.cfg, database support, enough storage and RAM, compatible artifacts, and permission to install dependencies. A 250 MB tier is unlikely to support a realistic framework-based roleplay stack.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Do I need a credit card for free FiveM hosting?

It depends on the provider. Gaming4Free, Server.pro’s initial demo, GratisVPS, and PrincHub advertise no card requirement. Nodecraft offers 24 hours without a card but requires payment details for its seven-day trial. Kamatera requires a valid card and can become billable if limits are exceeded or cancellation is missed.

What is the best free FiveM host for a public roleplay server?

None of these free offers should be treated as a dependable choice for a serious public RP server. Gaming4Free is the most practical no-card option for a tiny test, while GratisVPS offers a larger temporary allocation. Once uptime, backups, predictable CPU, or player data matter, move to paid hosting.

Can I use Oracle Cloud Always Free for FiveM?

Architecture must be verified first. Oracle’s Ampere A1 Always Free instances use Arm, while FiveM’s documented Linux artifact is x86-64. Do not assume the generous A1 memory allowance is compatible with a standard FiveM installation. An x86-compatible instance and the current official artifact are required.

The Bottom Line

Bottom line: use Gaming4Free for a small renewable, no-card test; Server.pro or Nodecraft for a short managed-hosting evaluation; GratisVPS for a larger 120-day build; Nodewave only if your project qualifies; and PrincHub only for a micro-experiment. Back up your files and database from day one, and move to paid hosting before real players or irreplaceable data depend on the server.
