For VALORANT aim practice in Aimlabs, use a balanced set of drills that isolates small corrections, flicks, tracking, and reactions to strafes and peeks: Micro 2 Sphere VALORANT, Microshot VALORANT, Adjustshot VALORANT, Headshot VALORANT, Strafe Track VALORANT, Strafeshot VALORANT, and Peekshot VALORANT. These are practical picks from Aimlabs’ official VALORANT Aim Basics descriptions—not a proven ranking of which drills improve accuracy most. Choose the exercises that address your current weakness, then carry that focus into VALORANT’s Range and matches.

Which Aim Lab exercises should you use for VALORANT?

The seven drills below cover different parts of aiming rather than repeating one kind of click. The task descriptions come from Aimlabs’ VALORANT Aim Basics routine. Use the skill focus to select a drill; the descriptions explain what each task is designed to practice, not its comparative effectiveness.

Exercise What it practices Target pattern and shot sequence
Micro 2 Sphere VALORANT Small corrections and short flicks Two small, static targets in a compact play space.
Microshot VALORANT Micro-corrections against predictable strafes Two targets move predictably in a long corridor; aim to chain small corrections.
Adjustshot VALORANT Flicking, then correcting Two slightly moving targets call for an initial flick followed by a quick adjustment.
Headshot VALORANT First-shot timing across targets Four targets move side to side across a wide area and change direction at the edges. Aimlabs’ later Calm Aim article recommends prioritizing first-shot accuracy and click timing rather than tracking them.
Strafe Track VALORANT Reading horizontal movement One invincible target moves horizontally with slight back-and-forth motion; the task emphasizes target reads and tension control.
Strafeshot VALORANT Responding to erratic strafing Four targets appear at different heights, move horizontally, and often stop—an isolated approximation of evasive player movement.
Peekshot VALORANT Reactivity and micro-corrections Targets peek from either side of a corridor, prompting a reaction to an angle peek.

How to choose a drill for your weakness

Start with the pattern that most closely matches the skill you want to isolate. Static small targets focus attention on precise, short movements; moving targets add tracking, timing, or a flick-and-correct sequence. Multiple targets require transitions, while corridor peeks and strafes add a more game-like reaction cue. These distinctions follow the official task descriptions; they do not establish that one drill produces better results than another.

  • Your crosshair lands near the target but not on it: try Micro 2 Sphere VALORANT or Microshot VALORANT for small corrections.
  • Your first movement is close, but you need a second adjustment: use Adjustshot VALORANT.
  • You click too early or chase moving targets: practice Headshot VALORANT with attention to first-shot timing rather than continuous tracking.
  • You struggle to read a horizontal strafe: use Strafe Track VALORANT for movement reads, then Strafeshot VALORANT for targets that move and stop.
  • You want a reaction cue resembling an opponent appearing at an angle: try Peekshot VALORANT.

How these seven fit into Aimlabs’ VALORANT routines

VALORANT Aim Basics

Aimlabs describes VALORANT Aim Basics as a 24-minute playlist of eight one-minute tasks repeated three times. It covers flicking, micro-corrections, and smoothness, then includes tasks intended to resemble opponents strafing and peeking angles. The seven exercises here are a selection from the routine’s task descriptions, not a complete reproduction of its eight-task playlist. See Aimlabs’ VALORANT Aim Basics routine.

Calm Aim

Aimlabs describes its Calm Aim playlist as about six minutes long, covering stability, accuracy, timing, composure, and speed. It may be a shorter warm-up option. Its description does not claim that the playlist replaces VALORANT practice. Read Aimlabs’ Calm Aim overview.

Make aim-trainer practice useful in VALORANT

Use Aimlabs to focus on a particular aiming pattern, then practice applying that focus in the game. Aimlabs’ VALORANT training guide recommends repeating practice over time, tailoring it to your needs, and not expecting instant results from one session. It also says an aim trainer cannot replace every skill VALORANT requires.

That distinction matters: accurate clicks are only one part of a round. The VALORANT Range can support warm-ups and aim or reflex practice; Aimlabs’ guide recommends prioritizing accuracy over speed when practicing against bots. In matches, apply the same focus while accounting for the game’s positioning and decisions. Riot’s 2021 announcement of the Aim Lab Combine listed categories including Entry, Headshots, Microflexing, Tracking, Trigger Control, and Wallpeek—another reminder that aim practice spans more than raw clicking.
