The quickest reliable way to build Microsoft Rewards points is to collect the activities Microsoft makes available to your account each day: dashboard tasks, eligible Bing searches, and, if you already play, selected Xbox games or quests. There is no universal daily points total or single fastest method; opportunities, limits, and eligibility vary by market and account. Stay signed in, check your own Rewards dashboard, and spread searches through the day rather than trying to rush them.
1. Complete the daily dashboard activities
Open the Microsoft Rewards dashboard and look for quizzes, trivia, and other listed activities. Microsoft says these opportunities are updated daily, so checking regularly helps you catch what is available rather than relying on a fixed schedule. The points shown on your dashboard are the relevant amount for your account and region. Microsoft’s guide to earning points

2. Search with Bing while signed in
Search with Bing using the Microsoft account linked to Rewards. Microsoft’s support article lists a search-count ceiling of up to 10 searches per day for Level 1 and up to 30 for Level 2. These are search limits, not a guaranteed points total: the points credited per search and the limits shown to you can depend on your account and market. A full PC or mobile search counter stops crediting further searches until it resets. Microsoft’s Rewards overview
Spread searches out naturally. Microsoft advises: “Spread out your searches throughout the day and avoid conducting rapid, back-to-back searches.” Rapid or spam-like searching may restrict earning. Microsoft’s search-limits guidance

Keep the Rewards-linked account signed in and check the points breakdown to confirm whether those searches count for you; availability and terms can vary. Microsoft’s guide to earning points
4. Check mobile earning options
Microsoft lists Bing mobile searches among its earning methods and also describes eligible Microsoft Store purchases on mobile. Mobile opportunities are not available in every region, so use the activities and counters displayed in your own account rather than assuming a method will work everywhere. 5. Earn from eligible Microsoft Store purchases you already plan to make
Some Microsoft Store purchases can earn Rewards points, but eligibility varies. Check the offer terms and points shown before buying. A purchase is only a sensible points opportunity if the item is worth buying to you without the reward; points are not a reason to spend more than you intended. Microsoft’s guide to earning points
6. Play selected Xbox games or complete quests
Microsoft says selected games and quests can earn points. Check the Rewards app on Xbox or the current Rewards dashboard for the tasks available to your account; not every game or quest qualifies, and the available activities can change. This method fits best when you already want to play, rather than treating a points task as a reason to buy a game. Microsoft’s guide to earning points Getting the most out of Microsoft Rewards

7. Review account-linked opportunities and current offers
Microsoft describes personal Rewards points opportunities connected with work or school accounts, but eligibility depends on the account and market. Check rewards.bing.com for the offers and tasks actually available to you. Do not assume that a work or school account qualifies simply because it is associated with an organization. How to make the routine efficient
- Sign in: Use the Microsoft account associated with Rewards before doing searches or activities.
- Check the dashboard: Review daily tasks, current offers, and your points breakdown; availability can vary by region.
- Do the ordinary activities that fit your day: Complete available quizzes, use eligible searches at a natural pace, and check Xbox quests if you already play.
- Check counters and terms: Stop when a search counter is full, and confirm the eligibility and points shown for purchases or offers.
There is no documented universal points-per-minute ranking that makes one activity fastest for everyone. To decide what is worthwhile on your dashboard, compare the displayed points with the time or spending required, whether it repeats, whether you qualify, and whether you would do the activity anyway.

What points are worth and when they expire
Microsoft says about 5,000 points usually gets something worth $5. This is an approximate comparison, not a fixed cash conversion; points have no cash value, and redemption options can vary. Microsoft also says points expire after 12 months without earning activity. Check Microsoft’s redemption guidance for available options and terms.
What to avoid
Do not use multiple accounts, inaccurate account information, bots, macros, location alteration, cross-country earning, or rapid search spam to try to increase points. Microsoft warns that such behavior can lead to earning or redemption limits, suspension, or invalidated points. Earn and redeem through your own eligible account and market.
