Its game hosting includes free DDoS protection, a personal firewall, up to three free backups a day with restore, a built-in mod installer and updater, and SFTP/FTP access. Locations on its ping page include the US East Coast, US West Coast, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Poland, Ukraine, Finland, and Singapore; support is available 24/7/365 by live chat or ticket.
Choose it if: you want a V Rising server with panel automation, backup restores, mod tooling, and multiple data-center choices.
Skip it if: you need a platform-specific feature that is not listed on the current V Rising plan.
2. BisectHosting: beginner-friendly PC hosting with BepInEx tools
BisectHosting is the safest default for a private PC/Steam server because it combines an accessible control panel with V Rising-specific tools. Its published offer includes free DDoS protection, VOIP support, full mod support, an integrated BepInEx installer, and three days of free backups.
The server selector lets you choose expected player count, location, billing period, and optional features. Pricing is calculated dynamically rather than presented as one universal monthly rate. Dedicated IPs, additional storage, or enhanced backup options may cost extra.
BisectHosting also publishes a beginner setup guide covering purchase, panel access, location selection, customization, and world uploads. It supports multiple server instances and game switching through its broader hosting plans.
Important PS5 qualification: BisectHosting’s documentation says enabling PS5 support creates a platform-specific server and currently does not provide crossplay. It should therefore be treated as a strong PC recommendation, not proof of universal PC-to-PS5 play.
Choose it if: you want easy mod installation, a mature panel, clear tutorials, and a conventional always-online server.
Skip it if: your primary requirement is a simple fixed slot price or confirmed PC/PS5 crossplay.
3. Game Host Bros: migration and server management
Game Host Bros publishes unusually clear resource tiers: $11.99/month for 6 GB RAM, $19.99 for 10 GB, and $31.99 for 16 GB at the time checked. The provider advertises V Rising 1.1 support, PC and PS5 support, migration assistance, a one-click BepInEx installer, daily backups, DDoS protection, NVMe storage, browser-based file management, a live console, sub-user permissions, automated backups, and game switching.
It also lists 15 global locations and advertises deployment in under 60 seconds. Those are provider claims, not independent guarantees, but the feature combination is particularly useful for communities with several administrators or an existing save to move.

Skip it if: four or five friends only need a small vanilla server and do not need a 10–16 GB plan.
4. Nodecraft: flexible or intermittent play
Nodecraft separates its V Rising offer into Budget/Lite and Premium plans. Budget plans can shut down while unused and resume through “Wake & Play”; Premium plans are intended for 24/7 operation and include a static IP and automated tasks.
The captured monthly prices were:
- Budget/Lite: 4 GB $11.92, 6 GB $17.88, and 8 GB $23.84 after the first-month promotion.
- Premium: 4 GB $19.98, 6 GB $29.98, and 8 GB $39.98.
Introductory prices were lower, but renewal cost is the more useful figure for a recurring server. Nodecraft also advertises conditional trials subject to availability and mobile-phone verification, so do not assume every visitor receives an unrestricted free trial.
Choose it if: your group plays at predictable times, wants sleep-mode savings, or values the ability to save and swap game instances.
Skip it if: you run a public community or need players to join at any time on a budget plan.
5. GPORTAL: mainstream slot-based option
GPORTAL is a straightforward choice for buyers who prefer selecting slots rather than comparing RAM allocations. Its PS5 page displayed 10 slots for $16.15 per 30 days, 10 slots for $43.60 per 90 days, and 40 slots for $37.66 per 30 days when checked.
Published locations include US Washington, Los Angeles, Dallas, and New York, along with Europe, Australia, Brazil, Japan, Singapore, and India. The service advertises DDoS protection and immediate availability.
GPORTAL has separate PC and console pages. Do not assume a PS5 plan, PC plan, or location is interchangeable, and check availability for the exact edition before purchase. Slot pricing is easy to understand but says less about CPU, RAM, storage, or mod flexibility than a resource-based plan.
Choose it if: you want a familiar slot-based rental and a broad location list.
Skip it if: you need transparent RAM allocation or extensive mod-management tools.

6. Nitrado: conventional rental workflow
Nitrado’s displayed V Rising offer included 10 slots for $16.19 per 30-day subscription and 20 slots for $24.99 per 30 days. The page includes PC and PlayStation 5 selectors, locations such as Frankfurt, London, New York City, Miami, Los Angeles, Singapore, Tokyo, and Sydney, plus 24/7 support, server guides, and automated backups.
Nitrado suits buyers who want explicit slot counts and a conventional prepaid or subscription workflow. However, a slot count is not a performance guarantee, and the platform selector does not establish crossplay. Taxes, currency conversion, regional pricing, and add-ons can change the final amount.
Choose it if: you value a mainstream rental process, multiple regions, and published support documentation.

GTXGaming’s US page displayed three easy-to-compare packages:
- Small: 10 players, 8 GB memory, $13.59/month.
- Recommended: 20 players, 8 GB memory, $19.98/month.
- Large: 40 players, 12 GB memory, $46.76/month.
The provider advertises 24/7 support, DDoS protection, worldwide coverage, offsite backups, a money-back guarantee, PS5 compatibility, and locations including New York, Dallas, and Chicago. The page identified game version 1.1 and referenced the Invaders of Oakveil-era version; version labels should be rechecked after future updates.
The large package advertises higher CPU priority, but “high CPU priority” is not a standardized benchmark. Likewise, 8 GB is not a universal guarantee for every 20-player world, especially with many castles, servants, or mods.
Choose it if: you want player count and advertised memory shown together, especially for a growing community.

8. Host Havoc: support and infrastructure features
Host Havoc advertises V Rising hosting from $12/month, although billing terms, add-ons, and the final capacity configuration affect the total. Its page highlights company-operated hardware, Xeon and Ryzen CPUs, DDR4/DDR5 memory, NVMe SSDs, up to 10 Gbps uplinks, a web console, file manager, log viewer, workshop installer, offsite backups, and data restores.
It also advertises 24/7 technical support and an average ticket response time below 10 minutes. That is a stated average, not a guaranteed resolution time or independent performance result.
Choose it if: support, logs, restore tools, and infrastructure information matter more than a simple headline comparison.

Private, community, PvE, PvP, or modded?
- Private dedicated server: prioritize price, a nearby location, simple settings, and reliable backups.
- Community server: prioritize moderation, staff permissions, DDoS protection, upgrade paths, and restore tools.
- PvE: progression continuity and backup reliability matter more than short-term peak capacity.
- PvP: location, latency, scheduled PvP rules, castle-destruction settings, and wipe management are critical.
- Modded: require BepInEx support, file access, restart scheduling, version control, and rollback backups.
- PS5: verify the exact console product separately. Never infer PC/PS5 crossplay from a generic “console support” label.
RAM versus player slots
Neither metric is sufficient alone. A server’s practical requirements depend on concurrent players, castles, servants, world age, mods, restart frequency, CPU quality, storage, and possible node overselling. A 40-slot package does not prove that 40 active players and a heavily developed world will perform well.
As a starting point, small vanilla groups should compare the lowest sensible tier from a reputable provider. Groups expecting 10–20 regular players should pay closer attention to CPU quality, restart tasks, backups, and upgrade paths. Public communities should prioritize scalable plans and moderation features. These are selection guidelines, not guaranteed player-to-RAM formulas.
What should V Rising hosting cost?
The captured offers placed many entry plans around $12–$16 per month, 6–10 GB resource plans around $12–$20 per month, and larger 12–16 GB plans around approximately $32–$47 per month. Slot-based and RAM-based prices are not directly equivalent.

Before ordering, check:
- Currency, region, taxes, and currency conversion.
- Monthly renewal price versus an introductory promotion.
- Monthly billing versus prepaid quarterly, semiannual, or annual terms.
- Whether backups, dedicated IPs, extra storage, and mod installers are included.
- Cancellation, refund exclusions, and platform-specific terms.
Choose the location for the whole group
Pick the region nearest to most players, not automatically the cheapest data center. East Coast groups can compare New York or Washington; central groups can consider Dallas or Chicago; West Coast groups can consider Los Angeles. Montreal may be useful for northern US players.
For a geographically scattered group, optimize for the worst players’ latency rather than one person’s ping. A provider’s “global network” claim cannot predict the routing your group will actually receive.
24/7 hosting versus sleep mode
Sleep-mode hosting can reduce cost for a small group that plays at predictable times. It is a poor fit for a public server, asynchronous progression, or friends who join independently. Nodecraft’s Budget/Lite plans illustrate the distinction: they can stop while unused, whereas Premium plans are intended to remain online.
Moving an existing world to a rented server
Game Host Bros explicitly advertises migration assistance; other hosts may provide only a file manager or upload instructions. The general process is:
Free tools Windows power users keep installed
One-click scans. No signup required.
- Stop the old server completely.
- Download a complete copy of the save-data directory.
- Confirm the new host’s required save path and file structure.
- Upload the complete world before starting the new server.
- Confirm server-version compatibility and any
-persistentDataPathsetting. - Start the server and inspect the console or logs.
- Verify administrator access and server settings.
- Have a player check character progression, castles, servants, and clan data.
- Keep the original backup until the new server survives at least one restart.
If the world resets after migration
Common causes include uploading to the wrong directory, starting the new server before uploading the save, mismatched versions, an incorrect persistent-data path, uploading configuration files without the world, or replacing files while the server was still running.
Stop the server, preserve the newly generated files, restore the known-good save, confirm the startup path, and restart. Check the world name, castles, characters, and clan data before inviting the group back.
Mods, updates, and backups
For BepInEx servers, look for a one-click installer or clear manual instructions, full file access, a console, scheduled restarts, version controls, and backup retention. BisectHosting and Game Host Bros advertise BepInEx-related tools.
Before a game or mod update:
- Make a fresh backup.
- Check BepInEx and mod compatibility.
- Update mods in a controlled order.
- Test on a copy when possible.
- Keep a rollback copy.
- If startup fails, disable the most recently changed mod and inspect logs rather than repeatedly restarting.
Backup labels are not equivalent. BisectHosting advertises three free backup days; Game Host Bros advertises daily backups; GTXGaming and Host Havoc advertise offsite backups. Ask how often snapshots run, how long they are retained, where they are stored, and whether restoration is self-service. Download independent copies anyway.
Self-hosting may be the better option
Renting is not mandatory. Stunlock’s official dedicated-server instructions explain the current 1.1.x PC branch, identify Steam AppID 1829350, and state that the downloadable dedicated-server application is Windows-only. The server is available through Steam’s Tools section.
Self-hosting can be cheaper if you already have a suitable Windows machine, reliable internet, stable power, and the technical ability to configure ports, firewalls, backups, updates, monitoring, and restarts. The official instructions recommend -persistentDataPath when separating saves and settings for multiple instances.
Stunlock’s hosting guide says PC administrators must add their Steam ID to adminlist.txt, enable the in-game console, and can enter list to see available commands. It also notes that server-name edits in start_server_example.bat may be overwritten by updates unless the customized file is renamed.
A newly launched server can take several minutes to appear in the server browser. Direct connection by external IP is an alternative when appropriate. The official guide also identifies POCKETHOST as a rental and management option, so third-party hosts are not the only supported path.
Final recommendations
Choose Godlike.Host for its V Rising game panel, backup restores, mod tools, and broad location list. Choose BisectHosting for beginner-friendly PC hosting with BepInEx tools, Game Host Bros for migration and administration, and Nodecraft Premium for a flexible 24/7 server while Nodecraft Lite suits occasional play. Choose GPORTAL or Nitrado for slot-based purchasing and broad locations, GTXGaming for visible RAM/player packages, and Host Havoc for support and restore tooling.
For PS5, verify the platform-specific listing and crossplay behavior before ordering. For any provider, compare the renewal price, location, backup policy, platform, and actual included resources—not just the cheapest headline number.
