If you’re asking what PS5 games you can play on PC, these nine are strong starting points across open-world action, platforming, roguelike shooting, and co-op. Here, “PS5 games to play on PC” means games released for PS5 that also have separately sold PC editions—not PS5 games that run on a PC through your console. The list is curated for variety, not an objective ranking or a complete catalogue. PlayStation’s PC catalogue lists current PC releases and store links.

What makes each game a good PC pick?
For open-world exploration: Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut
Choose this if you want a historical setting, a broad landscape to explore, and action built around Jin Sakai’s fight for Tsushima. The Director’s Cut is the expanded version PlayStation lists for PC. It is the most natural pick here for players who want to spend time roaming and engaging with an open-world adventure rather than following a tightly linear campaign.
For a cinematic father-and-son adventure: God of War Ragnarök
Kratos and Atreus anchor this action-adventure, making it a strong choice if character-driven storytelling matters as much as combat. Its published minimum PC target is unusually useful for planning: PlayStation lists 1080p at an average of 30 fps, a GTX 1060 or RX 5500 XT, 8 GB of RAM, and 190 GB of SSD storage. Treat that as the game’s stated minimum target, not a promise of higher settings or frame rates.

- Adaptive triggers - Experience varying levels of force and tension as you interact with your in-game gear and environments. From pulling back an increasingly tight bowstring to hitting the brakes on a speeding car, feel physically connected to your on-screen actions.
- Built-in microphone and headset jack - Chat with friends online using the built-in microphone or by connecting a headset to the 3.5mm jack. Easily switch voice capture on and off at a moment’s notice with the dedicated mute button. Internet and account for PlayStation Network required.
- DualSense Controller PS5 and PC compatible. Not compatible with PS4.
- PS Remote Play requires Remote Play App connected to Wi-Fi, PS4 or PS5 console with the latest system software and compatible game. A PS4 or PS5 console with a wired connection via a LAN cable is recommended. Version 4.0 of the Remote Play App on iOS and iPadOS or version 4.1 on macOS is required for games to be playable with the controller over Bluetooth.
For superhero traversal: Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
Peter Parker and Miles Morales share the story, and moving through the city is central to the appeal. It suits players looking for energetic superhero action and traversal rather than a slower, systems-heavy adventure. PlayStation says PSN sign-in is optional for this game; signing in adds specified suits, trophies, and friend management. Check the product page for the current details of those benefits.
For machine fights and a larger world: Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition
Pick this for exploration, encounters with large machines, and a world populated by new tribes and distant lands. The Complete Edition is the PC-listed version. It offers a different flavor from the grounded historical setting of Ghost of Tsushima: science-fiction discovery and machine combat are its defining draws.

- Ultra Customizable Controls
- Mappable Back Buttons
- DualSense Wireless Controller Features Built In
- Replaceable Stick Modules and Caps
For stealth and a divisive story: The Last of Us Part II Remastered
This is the choice for players who want a story-forward action game where stealth and combat both matter. Its narrative is not a safe recommendation for every taste, so consider whether you want an intense, emotionally challenging story before buying. PlayStation says the PC edition includes PS5 additions such as No Return, Guitar Free Play, and developer commentary, along with ultrawide support and adjustable graphics settings.

1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFor repeat-run shooting: Returnal
Returnal is a fast third-person shooter structured as a roguelike: runs take place on an alien planet that changes, so the appeal is learning and adapting over repeated attempts. It is the clearest fit in this list for players who prefer demanding, replayable combat over a conventional one-and-done campaign.

For playful platforming: Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
Its colorful interdimensional adventure combines platforming, weapons, and dimension-hopping through rifts. Choose it for a lighter, more accessible action-platforming experience than the darker story games in this list, while still getting plenty of combat and movement.
For sci-fi action: Stellar Blade
Stellar Blade focuses on action combat in a science-fiction setting, following Eve on an abandoned Earth. It is a straightforward recommendation for players primarily looking for combat rather than co-op or a broad exploration-first experience.

Where can you buy these games for PC?
PlayStation lists Steam and the Epic Games Store among its PC purchase destinations. Availability and prices vary by game and retailer, so use the current store links on PlayStation’s PC catalogue rather than relying on an old price or assuming every title is offered in every storefront.

- Easily pair the controller directly to your Windows PC via Bluetooth or play as you charge with the included USB Type-C cable
- Stay paired with up to four different Bluetooth devices, making it easy to enjoy the controller across Windows PC, Mac, PS5 consoles and smartphones. Discover more connection tips and tricks at playstation.com/pair-dualsense
- Access the latest available controller firmware directly from your PC with the free-todownload PlayStation Accessories app
- Play games streamed from your PS5 or PS4 console to your PC via the PS Remote Play App
Do you need to buy the PC version if you own the PS5 version?
Yes. PlayStation states that a PC purchase and a console purchase are different products; owning one does not grant the other. PlayStation also says savedata transfer between the PC and console versions is currently unavailable, so do not expect to carry a PS5 save into the PC edition.
Do these PC games require a PlayStation account or controller?
Account requirements depend on the game
Some PlayStation PC games require a PlayStation account for particular modes or features, and the details vary by title. PlayStation’s 2025 announcement made PSN sign-in optional for Spider-Man 2, God of War Ragnarök, The Last of Us Part II Remastered, and Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered while describing sign-in bonuses. Because requirements and benefits can vary or change, check the individual product page before purchase. Optional account linking for one game does not mean every PC game has the same policy.
Mouse and keyboard are not your only input option
PlayStation’s official PC FAQ says: “Yes, you can use a DualSense controller to play PlayStation Studios games on PC via a wired connection.” It also lists mouse and keyboard, DualShock 4, DualSense, and other controllers as input options. DualSense-specific features and wireless connectivity vary by title, so a wired connection is the dependable baseline when you want to use a DualSense.

Requirements are game-specific, so do not use one title’s specs as a proxy for the whole list. God of War Ragnarök illustrates why it is worth checking before installing: PlayStation’s listed minimum configuration includes 190 GB of SSD storage and targets an average 30 fps at 1080p, alongside a GTX 1060 or RX 5500 XT and 8 GB RAM. For every other game, consult its current PC product page for the applicable minimum and recommended specifications, graphics targets, and storage requirement.
