Steamhouse India reported higher revenue, EBITDA and profit for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. Revenue rose 13% year over year, while EBITDA increased 60% and profit after tax climbed 80%, supported by higher steam sales and supply volumes. The results were approved by the board on October 5, and the company’s shares gained 6% in CNBC TV18’s October 6 report.
Steamhouse India’s Q1 FY27 results
CNBC TV18’s rounded figures show revenue of ₹128 crore, up from ₹113 crore a year earlier. EBITDA was ₹31 crore versus ₹19 crore, and the EBITDA margin widened to 24% from 17%. Profit after tax reached ₹18 crore, compared with ₹10.2 crore in Q1 FY26.

Business Standard reported more precise figures for the same quarter: revenue from operations of ₹128.62 crore against ₹113.47 crore, operational EBITDA excluding other income of ₹30.9 crore against ₹19.3 crore, and profit after tax of ₹18.34 crore against ₹10.17 crore. Its reported year-on-year increases were 13.35%, 60.08% and 80.2%, respectively. These values are attributed to Business Standard; the underlying exchange filing is not independently cited here.

Steam sales and volumes drove operating growth
Steam revenue was ₹123 crore, up 46% from ₹84.5 crore a year earlier, according to CNBC TV18. Steam supply volume rose 16.7% year over year and 11.5% quarter over quarter. Business Standard reported that the company sold 305,816 tonnes of steam during Q1 FY27.

The reported revenue mix included 73.7% from steam generation and distribution and 22.2% from purchasing and distributing steam. Those categories account for most, but not all, of reported revenue.
How Steamhouse says it managed coal costs
The company said geopolitical uncertainty had increased inflationary pressure, including on coal prices, while steam margins were maintained through a pass-through mechanism. Business Standard described this as changes in coal costs being passed on to customers. That is the company’s reported explanation for protecting margins; it does not establish how future cost changes or customer terms will affect results.

What Steamhouse India does
Steamhouse generates and distributes industrial steam using community boilers and pipeline networks, serving industrial customers, with a major presence in Gujarat clusters. It also works in nitrogen distribution, waste-to-steam projects and other industrial utility solutions. CNBC TV18 reported seven community steam boilers, approximately 345 tonnes-per-hour of installed steam capacity, more than 50 km of pipelines and over 170 industrial customers.

CNBC TV18 reported a 6% share-price gain on October 6, 2026. A separate contemporaneous Economic Times company-feed report said the share reached a 10% upper circuit. These are reports from different coverage and may reflect different observation times; they should not be treated as one simultaneous price measurement.

The company’s BSE listing announcement was dated September 17, 2026. Economic Times reported that the stock debuted at ₹94.50, a 17% premium to its issue price. The share-price moves describe market activity, not a recommendation to buy or sell.
