A community deal roundup lists Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade for PS5 at $19.99 against a $39.99 reference price—a nominal 50% comparison—while Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles for Nintendo Switch is listed at about 40% off. Are Final Fantasy games 50% off on Amazon?
Not across the listed games. The community roundup includes one nominal 50% comparison: Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade for PS5 at $19.99 versus $39.99. That source does not establish that the reference price is a typical price or confirm that the item is an official Prime Big Deal Days offer. The other examples have different discounts, and listings or prices may have changed.

How to check whether a listing is a good deal
- Open the exact game listing. Match the game, edition, and platform to your console; do not assume Switch, Switch 2, PlayStation, or Xbox versions are the same product.
- Check the live checkout price and eligibility. Confirm whether the price is available to your account, whether Prime is required, and whether the item is still in stock.
- Compare the displayed reference price carefully. A stated percentage is a comparison to a listed price, not proof that the product usually sells at that amount.
- Use Amazon’s Price History link on the product page. Amazon says its tool can show up to 365 days of pricing data; that is Amazon’s description of the feature, not an independent valuation of the deal.
What Amazon’s wider event claims do—and do not—show
Amazon says the event covers more than 35 categories and that over one million items are at its “lowest price of the year so far.” These are Amazon’s event-wide promotional claims, not independent verification or evidence that any particular Final Fantasy game is at its lowest price or discounted by 50%.
