Good Children Say Grace is an upcoming psychological horror adventure with manga-inspired visual storytelling, branching choices and first-person/2.5D exploration. A Steam announcement dated September 29, 2026 gives October 16, 2026 as its release date; because captured store information has not been consistent about availability, check the live Steam listing for the current status.
What is Good Children Say Grace?
Steam lists Good Children Say Grace as an Adventure/Indie game developed by Denis Morozov and Milha Vek and published by Denis Morozov. The store describes an absurdist psychological horror story set on a remote Eastern European island in the 1980s, with family horror presented through manga-inspired visual storytelling. The developer’s introductory devlog previously described the setting as fictional Soviet Russia in the 1980s; the store’s current phrasing is the more useful description.
This is a video game with manga-inspired presentation, not an announced manga adaptation. Its store description centers on exploration and a nonlinear narrative: dialogue choices matter, but so does where the player walks, with small actions capable of changing the story’s outcomes. Steam characterizes the experience as first-person/2.5D exploration with multiple routes and endings.
When does it release on Steam?
A Steam announcement dated September 29, 2026 says the game releases on Steam on October 16, 2026. Treat that as the announced date, not confirmation that the game is currently available: some captured store pages still showed “Coming soon.” Check the official Steam page for the latest availability.

What should players expect from the story and structure?
The central appeal is a narrative whose shape responds to both conversation and movement through the environment, rather than dialogue choices alone. The official store copy emphasizes nonlinear storytelling and multiple routes. However, captured versions of the description differ in their plot framing: one refers to a day with Martin and Amelia and claims 15 or more endings, while another describes choices shaping three years of starvation, possession and survival. Since those details are not consistent across captures, check the current listing before relying on a specific plot summary or ending count.
The store names Japanese voice acting by Kaori Shimizu and vocals by Nami Nakagawa. A captured language listing shows English and Japanese full audio, with English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese and Russian interface and subtitle support. Language availability can change, so confirm the live listing before purchase.
