What does the Digital Deluxe Upgrade include?
The Digital Deluxe Upgrade adds digital characters and cosmetics to the base game, plus a digital comic. The official FAQ identifies the exclusive Inmate Michael Myers skin and two civilian characters, Alexis and Richard; Steam’s listing also names advance access to the “Final Girl” Laurie Strode cosmetic and the digital comic. The FAQ mentions “more surprises,” but does not specify them.
The publisher described the upgrade as purchasable at launch. Steam lists the Digital Deluxe Upgrade at $19.99 USD; the FAQ lists the full digital Standard Edition at $39.99 USD and Deluxe Edition at $59.99 USD. These are source-listed prices, not guaranteed current or regional prices. Check the relevant storefront before buying.

How is Deluxe different from the preorder bonus?
The Phantom Michael Myers skin is a separate digital preorder exclusive, not part of the Deluxe Upgrade. The publisher FAQ says it would not be available for purchase after the preorder period. That restriction is specifically stated for Phantom; it should not be generalized to every cosmetic described as exclusive.
The FAQ’s distinction matters if you are choosing between editions or add-ons: Deluxe was described as available at launch, while Phantom depended on preordering. See the official preorder FAQ for the publisher’s terms.

In an announcement dated October 5, 2026, the publisher listed four paid offerings for October 27. On the research cutoff of October 7, those were planned releases, not confirmed available content. The announcement’s listed USD prices and contents are:

Which update content is free?
The same October announcement said the Tower Farm map, listed features and fixes, and quality-of-life work would be free for people who own the game. That is separate from the paid character and cosmetic packs above. An update can therefore contain both free game content and paid DLC; the word “update” does not mean every item in it costs extra.
For the Tower Farm map, IllFonic Chief Creative Officer Jared Gerritzen said: “With the Tower Farm map, we take the terror of that first event in Haddonfield into somewhere wide open, where there’s nowhere to hide except in the dark – where Michael Myers truly comes to life.” See the publisher’s announcement for the update details.

Do physical editions include DLC?
The PS5 and Xbox Series X physical Standard Edition and Limited Collector’s Edition are base-game editions sold on disc, not DLC packs. The publisher says they include certain cosmetics for advance access, but those cosmetics can also be unlocked by completing in-game challenges. The Phantom skin is identified separately as a digital preorder exclusive.

How to decide what to buy
- Choose the base game if you want to play and do not need the Deluxe bonus characters, cosmetics, or comic.
- Consider Deluxe for Alexis and Richard, the Inmate Michael Myers skin, advance access to the Laurie Strode cosmetic, and the digital comic.
- Do not count on getting Phantom later if you did not preorder: the publisher said it would not be purchasable after the preorder period.
- Check the store listing for post-launch packs if you want specific characters or skins; as of October 7, 2026, the October 27 offerings had been announced but were not yet released.
- Do not buy a physical edition solely for permanent cosmetic exclusivity: the publisher says its advance-access cosmetics can also be earned through challenges.
