Older Metria guides place the first character gacha after the tutorial, at Begius’ house, and describe restarting through an account-deletion option. That route comes from third-party guides, not current official instructions: check the live game’s menus and warnings before deleting anything, especially if your account is linked. Reroll only if a preferred starting character or team matters more to you than replaying the opening and losing progress.
How to reroll in Metria
The available instructions are historical, so treat them as a guide to what players previously did—not a guarantee that the menus or account behavior are unchanged. Pocket Gamer’s guide, published November 10, 2023, places the initial gacha at Begius’ house after the tutorial. A GameFAQs guide updated January 25, 2025 documents restarting from the title screen through an “Account Deletion” option. Pocket Gamer’s Metria reroll guide and the GameFAQs guide are third-party sources, not current official confirmation.
- Decide whether you are willing to start over before linking your account. Pocket Gamer advised leaving the account unlinked while rerolling. Current deletion and recovery behavior is not confirmed by the official sources available here; read the game’s live warning and do not assume a linked account can be restored.
- Play through the tutorial to Begius’ house. That is where the 2023 guide says the initial gacha becomes available.
- Check the live banner before judging your result. Review its displayed rates, featured characters, and any guarantees in the game itself. The 2023 guide’s rates and roster details are historical, not established current values.
- If you still want a different result, inspect the current title-screen account menu. The January 2025 guide lists Title Screen > Account Deletion as its route, but neither that route nor its consequences are confirmed as current. Proceed only if the game’s present warning makes the outcome clear and acceptable.
- When you are satisfied, use the game’s current account-linking instructions. The available sources do not establish the exact current linking steps.
When is restarting worth it?
Rerolling is a preference tradeoff, not a requirement for progression. It is most worth considering when you have barely started, have a clear idea of the character or team you want, and are comfortable replaying the opening to pursue it. A team-role or element balance can help frame what you want, but old roster recommendations are not a current tier list.
Continuing is reasonable if you like your result, would rather reach the story, or have progress you do not want to risk. No reliable current source establishes how long a reroll takes, so weigh the replay cost for yourself rather than relying on a promised time.

What to verify before you act
- Current gacha details: use the banner’s in-game rates, featured roster, and guarantee text. Do not assume older guide figures still apply.
- Account consequences: read the live deletion prompt carefully, particularly if the account is linked. Current official sources found here do not explain whether or how a linked account can be restored.
- Whether the item or feature is actually an account reset: Metria’s November 2025 official notice describes a “Book of Mystic Reincarnation” for rerolling gear attributes; that is not the same as resetting a player account. The notice also announced a free daily 11-pull during a November 6–17, 2025 JST event, which has ended and is not a current reroll benefit. See the official anniversary notice.
The official Metria notices page confirms the game continues to receive updates, but the official pages available here do not document a current account-reset workflow.
