Temari Trials: Dojo’s Test does not have documented, game-specific control mappings or adjustable graphics and performance settings in the available official listings or recent review. What is documented is a 30-stage, single-player puzzle game whose sliding-ball mechanics reward careful move planning. The Xbox Series X|S listing calls that edition optimized for the console family, and the Windows listing marks its edition handheld optimized; those storefront labels are not measured performance guarantees.
Are there controls or performance settings to change?
The official Xbox Series X|S and Windows listings, along with a review published on October 5, 2026, do not document keyboard, mouse, or controller mappings; remapping or sensitivity options; accessibility settings; graphics presets; resolution; frame-rate targets; V-sync; load times; or input latency. That means there is no verified menu path or specific setting to recommend for this game. Check the options exposed by the edition you are playing rather than assuming a control scheme or graphics menu is available.
The Xbox Series X|S edition is labeled optimized for that console family, while the Windows edition is marked handheld optimized. These are platform listing features, not independent measurements of smoothness on a particular console, PC, or handheld. Neither the official listings nor the review provides performance testing. Use the puzzle mechanics to make play feel more controlled
The game’s practical challenge is planning a sequence of pushes, not tuning a documented sensitivity or graphics option. A recent review describes temari balls sliding until they meet a wall, a goal, or another ball. Collisions can move one ball while the ball that caused the collision stays put, and some chests require two hits. A move can therefore change the board in ways that matter to later pushes.
#1 Best Overall
- Incredibly simple controls
- Smooth and beautiful minimalist graphics
- Fun and challenging
- - Thought provoking puzzles
- Achieve perfect scores to prove your skill
Plan the order and direction of pushes
- Study the board before making the first move, noting walls, chests, and the positions of every ball.
- Think through where a ball will slide and what it will hit. Consider whether a collision will reposition a useful blocker or leave one in place.
- For a chest that needs two hits, plan both hits and the ball positions required to make them possible before committing to the first.
- In the final fifteen levels of the reviewed game, redirector squares send balls in a new, right-angled direction. Include that turn in your route rather than treating the square as an ordinary floor tile.
Experiment with undo; restart only when needed
The review reports that undoing moves and retrying from the start of a level are available. Use undo to test a route and recover from a push that blocks a later move; restart if the current board position cannot be recovered. This is strategy advice based on the reported mechanics, not a claim about particular input bindings.
What to expect across platforms
TheXboxHub’s March 11, 2026 launch coverage names Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Store availability and access can vary by region and change over time, so check the storefront for your platform before purchasing. The platform listings do not establish a settings-by-platform comparison.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How difficult is it, and is there a hint system?
In his October 5, 2026 review, Dave Ozzy describes the game as not especially long or difficult and notes that it lacks a hint system. Those are the reviewer’s assessments, not publisher specifications. He also discloses receiving a free review copy from Afil Games. For a stuck level, the documented undo and retry options offer a way to test or reset your approach, but the reviewed sources do not identify an in-game hint feature. (TheXboxHub review)
