How character recruitment works
Metria’s official gacha notices say, “Get the character’s coin to use the character.” In other words, the coin is the unlock item; a featured character appearing on a banner does not by itself mean you have recruited them.
Gacha results can include duplicates. Metria’s notices direct players to check the Win Rates displayed on the Gacha screen, which is the place to confirm the current banner’s rates and rules.
Using a featured banner’s exchange tokens
Some Select Gachas provide a token route alongside random rolls: the banner awards tokens, which can be traded in the Exchange Center for a featured character coin. The terms are offer-specific, so check both the token award and the exchange reward on the banner you plan to use.
Example: Lunaria Select Gacha
Metria’s official notice dated September 15, 2026, for the SSR “[Sunny Missy] Lunaria” Select Gacha says a single-roll purchase awards one Character Point Token (Limited), while an 11-roll purchase awards 11. In that offer, 200 tokens exchange for one featured character coin. These are the terms of this Lunaria offer, not a guaranteed rule for other banners.
The notice lists the offer as running from after maintenance on September 15, 2026, until October 14, 2026, at 13:59 JST. It says the limited tokens remain usable in future Exchange Center gacha after the offer ends, but the rewards available under this offer become unavailable when its sale period ends. Check the live Gacha and Exchange Center screens before acting, since availability can change.
What to check before rolling
- Open the in-game Gacha screen and review the banner’s rules and Win Rates display.
- Confirm which character coin is featured, the exact token award per roll, and the number of tokens required for its exchange.
- Check the banner’s closing date and time, along with the deadline for exchanging its rewards.
- Read the character-specific notice to see whether the character is said to join the regular character gacha afterward.
Do featured characters join the regular gacha?
There is no safe universal assumption. A 2024 Lunaria notice said she would join the regular character gacha after her Select Gacha ended. In contrast, a February 2026 pickup notice for SSR “[Relentless Trainee] Rio” said Rio would not be added to the regular character gacha after that pickup. Treat each character’s official notice as the authority; featured status alone does not establish whether a character will become part of the regular pool or return later.

Can events provide resources for gacha?
Events have offered exchange rewards that include gacha resources, but event currency and availability are temporary. For example, the “Swift Gale, Raging Thunder” event dungeon notice said its rewards could be exchanged at the Shop’s Exchange Center for Star Stones, character EXP items, and magic stones used to raise the level cap. That event ran from after maintenance on May 12, 2026, until before maintenance on June 2, 2026; it is an example of a past route, not a current farming option.

What is not established by the notices
The cited official notices do not establish the complete current regular-gacha roster, a full current probability table, every way to earn Star Stones for free, or a non-gacha story route for unlocking characters. Use the live game and current character-specific announcements for those details rather than extrapolating from an older banner or event.
