To unlock and finish seasonal missions in Marvel Rivals, open the current Missions or Events screen, select the seasonal activity, and follow its displayed prerequisites and task rules. Complete each objective in the mode it specifies, then return to the relevant screen to claim rewards if a claim option appears. Mission chains, reset schedules, and reward flows vary by event, so use the live in-game instructions—not a past season’s pattern—for exact requirements and deadlines.
Where to find seasonal missions
Open the game’s current Missions or Events area and select the seasonal mission category or event. Read the task description and any unlock indicator attached to the mission or stage. The Season 9 official patch notes describe an event in which players complete missions for Units, Gallery Cards, and other rewards, but they do not provide a complete live checklist or universal unlock sequence. How to complete a mission and collect its reward
- Choose the seasonal activity. In the Missions or Events interface, open the event or category named by the game.
- Check the full task requirements. Note the objective, prerequisites, eligible mode, progress indicator, and displayed deadline. The available official notes do not establish the active task list or eligible modes, so rely on the client’s current wording.
- Play the required mode. Complete the objective as written, then check the mission’s progress indicator after the match.
- Return to the relevant interface. If a claim control appears, use it to collect the reward. The available sources do not establish that every mission reward is claimed in the same way or that every reward auto-claims.
- Continue before the event ends. Repeat for remaining available tasks, using the deadline shown in game rather than assuming a reset time from an older event.
Why seasonal mission unlocks can differ
Events have used different structures, so a past event is not a reliable guide to a current one. In Season 7, the official notes said completing missions in a new event would unlock the free Deadpool – Wade Wilson: The Spirit Guard uniform. Marvel Rivals Season 7 patch notes
Historical event records describe other patterns: Cerebro Database challenges used lines of three missions, while Milano Repair Logs required completing all missions in one log before unlocking the next. The record also describes later mission sets refreshing daily at 09:00 UTC. What older season rules do—and do not—tell you
Mission categories and rollover behavior have changed over time. Season 3’s official notes described the rules for that update: daily missions were removed, unfinished weekly missions carried over until mid-season, and season missions lasted the full season and could be repeated for rewards. The April 2025 Season 2 notes described a mission revamp for that season, including weekly missions and rewards and adjustments to daily and challenge missions. Check unlocks, resets, and deadlines in the game
- If a mission or page is locked, inspect its displayed prerequisite; a later stage may depend on earlier objectives or an event-specific unlock.
- Use the event screen’s own reset information and end time. Historical refresh times do not establish the schedule for a current event.
- Compare available mission paths by their stated requirements, mode, rewards, refresh timing, and deadline. There is no verified current comparison of active paths on which to base a universal recommendation.
