9to5Toys reported on October 7, 2026, that Amazon was offering the wired Razer Wolverine V3 Tournament Edition for $37.99 shipped, describing it as a new low. That is a dated deal report, not confirmation that the price is still available; check Amazon’s current price, stock, shipping, and any purchase conditions before ordering.
What the reported deal includes
The offer covered the black Razer Wolverine V3 Tournament Edition, an Xbox-licensed wired controller for Xbox Series X|S and PC. 9to5Toys reported the $37.99 price and compared it with a $100 launch price and a more recent Amazon price of around $75. Those comparisons come from the outlet’s October 7 deal report, not a separately verified price-history dataset. Read 9to5Toys’ October 7 deal report.
For a separate retailer snapshot, Best Buy listed the black model (RZ06-05210100-R3U1) at $74.99, with a $99.99 comparable value, when its page was retrieved. That listing does not establish Amazon’s current price or current availability. See Best Buy’s product listing.
What you get with the Wolverine V3 Tournament Edition

Its six remappable controls comprise four back buttons and two claw-grip bumpers. Other listed features include Pro HyperTriggers, Hall Effect thumbsticks, and Mecha-Tactile buttons. Razer says the included cable is 10 feet long. Check Razer’s product details and FAQ.

Wired connection and polling modes
This is not a wireless controller. Razer’s FAQ states: “No, the Razer Wolverine V3 TE is a fully wired controller on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC.” Razer lists 250 Hz polling when connected to Xbox. Its 1,000 Hz Tournament Mode is for PC, enabled through the companion app or a controller shortcut; it should not be read as the Xbox polling rate.
How it differs from other Wolverine models
The Wolverine V3 Pro is a separate wireless model. Razer’s comparison notes that it comes with a carrying case, swappable thumbstick caps, and more advanced haptics, features not identified as included with the Tournament Edition. For the V3 Tournament Edition, 9to5Toys also reported a detachable braided cable, rubberized grips, front-facing Razer-logo RGB, and two interchangeable thumbstick caps; those details are attributed to that outlet, not presented as hands-on findings.

The newer V4 models are another distinct comparison. Windows Central reported that the Wolverine V4 Pro and V4 Tournament Edition went on sale October 6, 2026, in the US, at launch prices of $199.99 and $99.99 respectively. Its coverage discusses capacitive thumbstick sensors in the V4 line. Current prices and availability may differ from those launch figures. Read Windows Central’s V4 coverage.
