Is BrokenLore: MIKI-CHAN released on PC?
As of October 7, 2026, Steam lists BrokenLore: MIKI-CHAN as not yet available, and Epic Games Store lists it as coming soon for Windows. Both storefronts give the release date as to be announced. These listings do not establish that crashes, low frame rates, or controller problems have occurred in a public release.
The official descriptions identify it as a first-person psychological horror game: Kazuaki encounters Miki-chan, a virtual assistant, while the Rewriter changes the environment or reality as part of gameplay. That context does not provide technical troubleshooting instructions.
Check the PC requirements without mixing storefront listings
Storefront requirement tables differ, and the Epic listing’s CPU and memory labels appear inconsistent in the surfaced data. Treat these as store-published specifications, not performance tests or guarantees. Check the live listing for your store before installing; do not combine values from the two tables into a single requirement set.

These are Epic’s surfaced specifications; they do not support a complete CPU/RAM comparison. Verify the current listing rather than treating the ambiguous entries as confirmed processor or memory requirements.

If BrokenLore: MIKI-CHAN crashes or will not launch
No MIKI-CHAN-specific crash cause, launch option, file-verification procedure, driver version, save location, or developer-confirmed fix is established by the available listings. If you encounter a problem after obtaining a release build, start with low-risk checks and collect details before making system changes.
- Confirm the game is available for your storefront and compare your PC with that store’s current requirements.
- Write down what happens: whether the game fails to open, closes during play, freezes, or displays an error. Include the error text, when it occurred, and whether it repeats.
- Record your Windows version, processor, graphics card, memory, and whether the game is running through Steam or Epic. This gives support a reproducible starting point.
- Check for official support or known-issue guidance from the developer once it is available. Do not treat generic PC troubleshooting advice as a confirmed MIKI-CHAN repair.
There is no evidence here supporting a particular crash workaround. Avoid deleting game or save files, disabling security protections, or applying unverified system changes as if they were known fixes.

If BrokenLore: MIKI-CHAN has low FPS
The storefront tiers are specifications, not benchmarks. They do not establish expected FPS on any GPU, at any resolution, or with any graphics preset. A PC that meets a listed tier is not guaranteed a particular frame rate.
If a released build runs poorly, note your hardware, resolution, graphics settings, and when the slowdown occurs, then consult official guidance. No title-specific graphics settings or performance fix is established yet, so avoid assuming that a particular setting or upgrade will resolve the issue.

If a controller is not working
SteamDB categorizes the game as “Gamepad Preferred” and “Partial Controller Support.” This is a limited third-party signal, not a verified list of supported controllers or a promise that every input device works; the metadata may also change. It does not establish native support for a particular Xbox, PlayStation, or Switch model.
- Check whether the release build exposes controller or input settings, then see whether the device appears there.
- If you already have access to another known XInput-compatible controller, compare whether the game recognizes it. This is a general diagnostic comparison, not a documented game-specific fix.
- If neither controller is recognized, note the device and connection method and seek official support guidance rather than assuming a specific model is supported.
Buying an Xbox-compatible gamepad is only a conditional option for testing input recognition; it cannot address crashes or low FPS, and compatibility may change before release. No particular controller model has been validated for this game.
