Is it worth rerolling in Fairy Tail Wizard Chronicle?
It depends on what you want from your starting account. Rerolling trades time spent replaying the opening for another chance at a starting roster you prefer. It is not a requirement for enjoying the game, and no official developer recommendation on rerolling is established by the available sources.

How does the reroll process work?
Third-party guides published in December 2025 describe a general loop: reach the gacha through the opening, collect the beginner or launch rewards currently offered, make the pulls you want, then keep the account or reset it and start over. Exact rewards and menu labels can change, so check the current app before following any reset instructions.
- Start a fresh account and advance through the opening. Continue until the gacha is available.
- Claim the rewards currently offered. Check in-game notices and beginner rewards before pulling; the available offers can change.
- Make the pulls relevant to your goal. Check whether the character you want is on an active banner.
- Decide whether to keep the result. If you want to restart, verify the current deletion and account-retention instructions before taking action.
The guides describe different reset routes. Pro Game Guides says to use the menu at the starting screen and select “Delete Data”; Kongbakpao describes clearing game data in settings and signing in again as a new player. These are third-party instructions, not a guarantee that either route behaves the same in the current version. Pro Game Guides estimates that repeating the opening tutorial takes about 3 to 5 minutes; that is the guide’s estimate, not a measured time for every device or version.

What should you keep before restarting?
Treat deletion as destructive unless current in-game help or official support confirms otherwise. The sources available do not establish the game’s current account-linking, backup, or transfer steps. Do not assume a guest login, transfer code, or particular deletion sequence will preserve an account.
- If you may want the current roster later, stop and find current account-retention instructions before deleting data.
- If you cannot verify how to retain or transfer the account, the safer choice is to keep playing rather than risk losing progress.
- Do not rely on an app-store listing as an account-support manual; it does not establish a safe backup procedure.
Who should you reroll for?
There is no current official best-target ranking established here. Two third-party recommendations from December 2025 differ: Pro Game Guides named Gray [Devil Slayer], Natsu [Dragon Force], and Erza [Heavenly Wheel Armor] as release-meta reroll targets; its tier table separately placed Lucy [Leo Form] and Christmas Eve Juvia in SS. Kongbakpao recommended Erza Scarlet. These are dated opinions, and the different naming and recommendations are another reason not to treat them as a permanent or official list.

Choose a target based on the current banner and your own preference. Before restarting for any character, confirm that the character is available now and check current in-game notices for banner and balance changes.
