TIM Brasil’s 2025 Dia dos Namorados promotion offered an eligible new PlayStation 5 for R$1,999, with a further R$700 off for customers trading in a used PS4 in good condition—bringing the stated lowest price to R$1,299. The campaign ended on June 12, 2025, or earlier if stock ran out, so it is no longer available.
How much was the PS5 at TIM?
TIM announced the offer on June 2, 2025, for its stores in Brazil. The stated promotional price for a new PlayStation 5 was R$1,999 for eligible TIM Black Família 100GB customers. TIM said the console could be paid in 21 installments of R$96, depending on the payment method.
Customers who traded in a used PS4 in good condition could receive an additional R$700 discount. TIM described the resulting PS5 price as “as low as” R$1,299; that was a conditional minimum, not a guaranteed price for every console trade-in.
Who qualified, and what did the plan cost?
The offer was tied to TIM Black Família 100GB, which TIM said was available to new and existing customers. The campaign release listed the plan at R$304.99 per month for the account holder and up to three dependents. That recurring plan cost is separate from the PS5’s promotional price and matters when comparing the deal with buying a console elsewhere.

TIM’s announcement did not state a plan-fidelity or commitment term for this promotion. It also did not detail how stores assessed a PS4’s condition or confirm that every trade-in would qualify for the full R$700 reduction. The release did not identify the PS5 hardware revision or bundle contents.
Is the TIM PS5 offer still available?
No. TIM’s announced deadline was June 12, 2025, or while stocks lasted. The offer has expired and should not be treated as a current price or current TIM customer benefit.

For a current purchase, compare the exact PS5 model and bundle, the total upfront or installment cost, any required service-plan cost and commitment, and the amount actually offered for a trade-in. The old promotion’s figures do not establish what TIM or other retailers currently charge.

TIM CMO Paulo Esperandio said the company used partnerships with manufacturers to offer updated models and attractive prices, adding that trade-in could make the PS5 price “muito vantajoso e único” for TIM customers. This was TIM’s characterization of its own offer, not independent evidence that it was the market’s best price. The campaign details and quoted statement appeared in TIM Brasil’s June 2, 2025 release.
