The eight Valentine lanterns are on Sweetheart Shores, and the walkthrough route below includes GPS coordinates for six of them plus landmarks for the other two. You’ll need the Candle of Compassion equipped to light them. Sweetheart Shores was reported unavailable in a Fisch Wiki update dated September 25, 2026, so check the live game before setting out; these steps describe the 2026 event route, not confirmed current access.
How to start the Valentine lantern quest
- Travel to the lone house near the top of Sweetheart Shores (GPS: (20679.8, 2078.3, -18018.7)). The All Things How walkthrough says the Candle of Compassion is on the dining table inside. It reports a price of 214 C$, but that figure is disputed: Fisch Wiki reports C$314, so neither price should be treated as verified. All Things How’s walkthrough and the Fisch Wiki Cupid’s Embrace page provide the conflicting reports.
- Equip the Candle of Compassion, then approach and interact with each lantern. The walkthrough says you can light them in any order; check the quest log to see your progress.
- Once all eight are lit, return to Sweetheart Sam. The walkthrough reports Cupid’s Handle, a rod cosmetic, as the reward.
All eight lantern locations
Use the coordinates as navigation points and the landmark descriptions to identify each lantern. The guide does not list GPS coordinates for lanterns 6 and 8.
| Lantern | GPS coordinates | Landmark |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | (20598.6, 210.1, -17858.1) | Small ledge by a pink tree, across the pond from the candle house. |
| 2 | (20514.8, 167.6, -17926.2) | Beside a tree on the hill path at the mountain’s foot, near the Valentine Merchant. |
| 3 | (20419.7, 140.3, -17802.5) | Small island behind the Shipwright on the eastern side, between two trees. |
| 4 | (20583.4, 141.9, -17758.2) | Southeast of Sweetheart Sam and Sarah; cross the bridge and look beside a tree. |
| 5 | (20670.1, 141.4, -17456.6) | Westernmost edge, by a tall brown tree and large stone formation. |
| 6 | Not supplied by the guide | Opposite Sweetheart Sam in the center, beside Ethan. |
| 7 | (20776.5, 154.6, -17728.8) | By the Wishing Well behind the central event area, on a small stone platform at the pond edge. |
| 8 | Not supplied by the guide | Behind the Valentine Leaderboard, beside a pink tree. |
The coordinate and landmark route is from the All Things How lantern guide. It calls the objectives Valentine Lanterns; Fisch Wiki refers to the set as Lanterns of Longing. Both sources describe eight lanterns on Sweetheart Shores that require the Candle of Compassion.
Is Sweetheart Shores available now?
Not confirmed. A Fisch Wiki page updated September 25, 2026 labels Sweetheart Shores unavailable or unobtainable. The location walkthrough and other event coverage describe the earlier 2026 event, rather than confirming the island or quest is currently accessible. Check the live game for access before relying on this route. The wiki also says lanterns are server-sided and become unlit when a Love Letter Long Pike Pool ends; that is a community-wiki description of the wider event mechanic, not confirmation that the standalone quest is playable now.
