The community references below list possible salvage, not guaranteed drops or drop chances. Use this as a field guide to the documented threats, and check the live game for changes after patches.
Enemy weaknesses, tactics, and listed loot
The table brings together entries from community references, including thearcraiders.wiki’s enemy index and arcraiders.wiki’s variant overview. These are not official Embark drop tables. The references do not provide drop probabilities or guarantee that a listed item will appear.
Roster coverage is source-specific: one index reports 17 threats, while another includes additional named entries such as Comet and Firefly. The table includes the enemies named in the available references, but should not be read as a definitive, reconciled roster for every game version.
| Enemy | Role and documented weakness or cue | Practical response | Listed drops or salvage |
|---|---|---|---|
| Snitch | Fragile scout and alarm unit. | Destroy it quickly if possible: it can alert nearby ARC and summon reinforcements. | ARC Synthetic Resin, ARC Thermo Lining, Sensors, Snitch Scanner. |
| Wasp | Destroying its rear thrusters can destabilize it. | Aim for the rear thrusters to disrupt its flight. | Light Ammo, Simple Gun Parts, ARC Synthetic Resin, Wasp Driver. |
| Hornet | Its rear thrusters are unarmored. | Target the rear thrusters; dodge when it signals an attack. | Medium Ammo, Simple Gun Parts, ARC Performance Steel, Hornet Driver. |
| Tick | Often heard before it is seen; it can latch on. | The overview says any weapon can destroy it. Dodge-roll when it latches on. | ARC Flex Rubber, ARC Thermo Lining, Tick Pod. |
| Pop | Small explosive threat. | The overview says any weapon can destroy it; if ambushed, climb to get away from it. | ARC Coolant, ARC Thermo Lining, Crude Explosives, Pop Trigger. |
| Fireball | Its weak point is exposed when it opens to attack. | Shoot during that opening, then move away after destroying it to avoid the fire. | Crude Explosives, ARC Coolant, ARC Thermo Lining, Fireball Burner. |
| Turret | Stationary turret; the overview does not identify a specific weak point. | Bait its attack, use cover, and consider heavy ammo. Treat the weapon advice as reference guidance, not a universal rule. | Light Ammo, Simple Gun Parts, ARC Synthetic Resin, ARC Thermo Lining. |
| Sentinel | Long-range turret. The overview identifies the yellow canister on its arm as a target. | Bait its attack and use cover while targeting the canister. | Heavy Ammo, Advanced ARC Powercell, ARC Coolant, Medium Gun Parts, Sentinel Firing Core. |
| Surveyor | Its weak point is exposed while it fires its laser; it can flee quickly and can be stunned. | Take the opening during its laser attack and act quickly before it escapes. | Advanced ARC Powercell, ARC Circuitry, Sensors, Surveyor Vault. |
| Shredder | The overview identifies its thrusters as weak points. | Use adequate cover. Its reported locations have changed, so consult current map information rather than relying on a fixed location. | Mechanical Components, Simple Gun Parts, ARC Synthetic Resin, Shredder Gyro. |
| Comet | Explosive threat. | If ambushed, climb; dodge sideways before it explodes. | Crude Explosives, ARC Coolant, ARC Thermo Lining, Comet Igniter. |
| Firefly | Semi-armored thrusters; the overview also lists a yellow canister target. | Target the listed exposed or less-armored parts rather than assuming the whole unit is equally vulnerable. | ARC Performance Steel, Simple Gun Parts, ARC Coolant, ARC Thermo Lining, Firefly Burner. |
| Spotter | Designates Raiders for Bombardier targeting. | Destroy it before it locks on; use vertical cover against Bombardier attacks. | ARC Synthetic Resin, ARC Thermo Lining, Sensors, Spotter Relay. |
| Bombardier | Heavy, long-range artillery; Spotters can mark targets for it. | Use cover and address the Spotter threat when one is marking you. | Launcher Ammo, ARC Performance Steel, Heavy Gun Parts, Bombardier Cell. |
| Leaper | Heavy, mobile threat with leap and shockwave attacks. Its listed weak points are its eye and leg joints. | The Leaper page recommends Blaze Grenades followed by heavy-ammo shots. This is that page’s tactic, not a universally tested strategy. | ARC Alloy, Mechanical Components, Advanced ARC Powercell, ARC Flex Rubber, ARC Motion Core, ARC Performance Steel, Explosive Compound, Leaper Pulse Unit. |
| Bastion | The index describes it as a severe threat; a specific weakness is not established in the available entry. | No detailed, enemy-specific tactic is established in the available entry. | Item-level drops are not stated in the community index entry. |
| Matriarch | The index describes it as a boss-level threat; a specific weakness is not established in the available entry. | No detailed, enemy-specific tactic is established in the available entry. | Item-level drops are not stated in the community index entry. |
| Queen | The index describes it as a boss-level threat; a specific weakness is not established in the available entry. | No detailed, enemy-specific tactic is established in the available entry. | Item-level drops are not stated in the community index entry. |
What the listed loot can—and cannot—tell you
Use the item names as a guide to the salvage associated with each enemy, not as a promise that a kill will produce a particular item. The references provide neither drop chances nor guaranteed quantities, so they cannot establish how many encounters a specific item will take.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:

For example, the Leaper page lists a Leaper Pulse Unit among its salvage and says it can be found by scavenging a destroyed Leaper. It also identifies the item as a Utility Station upgrade material. That detail does not establish a probability or guarantee a unit on every kill.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Using weaknesses without assuming every ARC works the same way
Look for the specific cue documented for the enemy in front of you: an exposed part, a targeting signal, or a brief attack window. A weak point listed for one ARC does not imply the same target or ammunition will work best against another. Where an entry gives no weak point, do not treat an unverified target as confirmed.

Enemy behavior also changes the immediate priority. A Snitch can call in nearby ARC, a Spotter can mark Raiders for Bombardier fire, and a Sentinel can threaten from long range. In those encounters, preventing or managing the incoming threat may matter more than applying a tactic copied from a different enemy.
