120 FPS in Wuthering Waves Not Available: How to Fix and Enable It on PC

The Wuthering Waves 120 FPS option is limited to eligible PC hardware. Check both CPU and GPU support, then enable it in Settings > Graphics > Frame Rate.

If the 120 FPS option is missing in Wuthering Waves, first check whether your PC is eligible: the setting has been limited to supported hardware, and both the CPU and GPU matter. On a supported PC, open Settings > Graphics and choose 120 FPS under Frame Rate. Compatibility lists have changed between updates, so an older GPU list cannot confirm eligibility for the current game version.

Why 120 FPS may be unavailable

The 120 FPS option is not a general setting available to every PC. Kuro Games introduced it for select PC devices, with both a supported GPU and CPU required. A GPU that appears on a historical list is not enough on its own to establish eligibility.

Support expanded in Version 2.3, but the available official Version 3.7 announcement does not provide a current 120 FPS CPU-and-GPU whitelist. Treat model lists from earlier updates as version-specific rather than as a definitive list for the current release. Version 2.3 patch coverage reports the expansion; the Version 3.7 maintenance announcement gives general device requirements but no current 120 FPS list.

General PC requirements are not a 120 FPS compatibility list

The Steam listing states general minimum and recommended PC requirements, including 16 GB RAM minimum and 32 GB recommended in the listing accessed in October 2026. Those requirements do not confirm that a particular CPU and GPU can use the 120 FPS option.

Check the client and platform

The compatibility details described here concern the PC client. Do not assume they apply to mobile, console, or cloud-streaming versions without confirmation for that platform. Also note that a high-refresh-rate display affects what frame rate the screen can show; the available compatibility information does not establish that display refresh rate controls whether the in-game option appears.

How to enable 120 FPS on a supported PC

  1. Launch the PC version of Wuthering Waves and open Settings.
  2. Select Graphics.
  3. Find Frame Rate and choose 120 FPS.

This menu path is reported in the PC troubleshooting guide. If 120 FPS is not among the available choices, use the checks below rather than assuming that changing the display or editing local configuration will unlock it.

  • Incredible Images: The Acer KB272 G0bi 27" monitor with 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution in a 16:9 aspect ratio presents stunning, high-quality images with excellent detail.
  • Adaptive-Sync Support: Get fast refresh rates thanks to the Adaptive-Sync Support (FreeSync Compatible) product that matches the refresh rate of your monitor with your graphics card. The result is a smooth, tear-free experience in gaming and video playback applications.
  • Responsive!!: Fast response time of 1ms enhances the experience. No matter the fast-moving action or any dramatic transitions will be all rendered smoothly without the annoying effects of smearing or ghosting. A 120Hz refresh rate speeds up the frames per second to deliver smooth 2D motion scenes in gaming and video.

What to check when the option is missing

  1. Confirm the platform and game version. PC compatibility lists do not establish support on other clients, and eligibility may change with updates.
  2. Identify both exact processor and graphics-card models. A matching GPU alone does not meet the stated eligibility condition. Compare both components against support information for the version you are running.
  3. Check how current the list is. Version 2.3 coverage reported support for NVIDIA RTX 2070 SUPER and newer in the RTX 20 series, RTX 3060 and newer in the RTX 30 series, and AMD RX 6600 XT or newer, while noting CPU requirements. These are historical patch-era GPU identifiers, not a current complete whitelist; the source does not establish a present-day CPU list.
  4. If your hardware appears eligible, verify the exact models and version with official customer support. A Version 1.2-era report noted an update fixing a case where the option did not appear for some users who met requirements. That historical fix does not diagnose a missing setting on a later version.

A monitor capable of a high refresh rate may be relevant to seeing output above 60 frames per second, but it is not documented as a fix for a missing menu option. Do not buy a monitor or GPU as a first troubleshooting step.

If enabling 120 FPS causes problems

Version 2.3 patch coverage warns that enabling 120 FPS can cause performance problems, glitches, or hardware-related issues depending on settings and the system environment. If instability or glitches begin after selecting it, return to Settings > Graphics > Frame Rate, disable 120 FPS, and consult official support guidance before trying further changes.

Should you upgrade hardware?

Do not choose an upgrade based on a GPU name alone. Check your exact CPU and GPU, current game-version support, display capability, budget, and regional availability first. For example, the RTX 3060 appears in the reported Version 2.3 expansion, but that historical mention is not a universal recommendation or a guarantee that a PC with that card can enable 120 FPS today.
