There are five reported, dependable ways to get Dragon Keys in Qinghe: clear three named outposts for the first time, complete the “Skill Theft: Unearned Lesson” Exploration quest, and reach Solo Mode Breakthrough Level 2. Use a key at a Dragon Pillar to open a hidden passage to a weapon’s Skill Theft route. To find the right entrance, go to Develop → Weapons, select the weapon, and choose Obtain to focus its map clue.
Where to get Dragon Keys
These five sources are described as reliable ways to earn keys. For the outpost rewards, make sure you loot the stronghold chest after capturing the location; the key is reported as part of that chest’s reward.

One guide also mentions that other Outpost Chests may drop Dragon Keys randomly. That is not established as a dependable farming route, so prioritize the three named first-clear rewards instead.
Where Dragon Keys are used
Dragon Keys activate Dragon Pillars or pedestals at compatible Qinghe sanctums and hidden passages. Activating one consumes a key and opens access to a Skill Theft route associated with a weapon’s Martial Art. The following are guide-level landmarks, not substitutes for the in-game location clue; published names and directions do not always match.

How to find the entrance and spend a key
- Open the in-game menu and choose Develop.
- Open Weapons and highlight the weapon whose Martial Art you want.
- Select Obtain. The map focuses on the weapon’s location clue; follow it to the relevant sanctum or passage.
- At the entrance, interact with its Dragon Pillar or pedestal to spend a Dragon Key and open the route.
- Complete the Skill Theft infiltration to obtain the associated Martial Art. Some techniques may also be available by joining the relevant Sect.
The “Skill Theft: Unearned Lesson” quest is also described as a way to learn stealth mechanics. One guide recommends Touch of Death for stealth takedowns and places it in the “Echoes of Old Battles” questline, but the available guides do not establish that this skill is required at every Dragon Key destination.

Destination names are inconsistent in secondary guides: examples include Heavenquake versus Heavenquaker Spear and Infernal Dual Blades versus Infernal Twinblades. Directions for the latter also range across multiple landmarks. Rather than spending time searching each name literally, use Develop → Weapons → select a weapon → Obtain to bring up the game’s clue for that specific reward.

The official Where Winds Meet interactive map identifies itself as an official map tool, but its available page text does not expose Dragon Key or sanctum markers. The key and destination details here are based on guides published or updated between November 2025 and July 2026; those sources do not confirm whether a later game patch changed the mechanics.
