The best Stellar Crown pulls depend on what you collect: standout artwork, a favorite Pokémon, a rare treatment, or a card with gameplay appeal. For a price-based snapshot, Squirtle #148, Bulbasaur #143, and Dachsbun ex #169 led the listed cards on September 28, 2026. The picks below combine that dated market signal with rarity and character appeal; they are an editorial shortlist, not an objective ranking or a current competitive tier list.

What makes a Stellar Crown card worth chasing?

Stellar Crown is a Scarlet & Violet expansion built around Terapagos and the Terastal phenomenon. The Pokémon Company describes it as having over 170 cards, more than a dozen new Pokémon ex, more than 20 Trainer cards, and more than 30 specially illustrated Pokémon and Trainer cards. The English checklist counts 175 cards in total: 142 main-set cards and 33 secret rares, according to PokéBeach’s August 30, 2024 set guide.

“Best” can mean several different things: a card’s market price on a particular date, its rarity, the appeal of its Pokémon or artwork, or its usefulness in a deck. The price figures here are a single dated snapshot, not guaranteed sale prices. Prices can change with condition, seller, location, and time. This list does not claim that every card is competitively strong or currently tournament-relevant.

13 Stellar Crown cards to look for

1. Squirtle #148 — Illustration Rare

Squirtle is the top listed card in the September 28, 2026 price snapshot, at $98.47. Its combination of a popular starter Pokémon and an illustration-rare treatment makes it a natural collector chase. The figure is a market-price estimate from MaickJP’s checklist using TCGplayer market-price data, not a guaranteed selling price.

How should you choose between the chase cards?

  • For a dated price signal: Start with Squirtle #148, Bulbasaur #143, and Dachsbun ex #169, the top three in the September 28, 2026 checklist snapshot.
  • For set identity: Look at the two Terapagos ex cards, especially if collecting the Pokémon at the center of Stellar Crown matters more than chasing a particular price.
  • For artwork and character variety: Consider the Illustration Rare Pokémon and the Lacey Special Illustration Rare rather than focusing only on ex cards.
  • For gameplay interest: Stellar Pokémon ex have attacks with multi-type Energy costs. PokéBeach identifies Noctowl, Briar, Glass Trumpet, and Area Zero Underdepths as support cards to consider, but this shortlist is not a current tournament ranking.

If you want one named card, buying it as a single lets you target that card directly. Opening packs is random and cannot guarantee any specific pull.

What comes in the Stellar Crown Elite Trainer Box?

The official Stellar Crown Elite Trainer Box includes nine booster packs and a full-art foil Noctowl promo. It is one product option for opening the set, but the packs do not guarantee any of the 13 cards above. The product details are on Pokémon’s official Elite Trainer Box page.

How many cards are in Stellar Crown?

The English checklist has 175 cards: 142 in the main set and 33 secret rares, according to PokéBeach’s August 30, 2024 set guide. Pokémon’s official expansion overview describes the set more broadly as having over 170 cards.
