In Act Two, pick up the Resonance Stone in the Mind Flayer Colony, southwest of the Necrotic Laboratory, near the Mind-Archive Interface at X: 692, Y: -114. Its 9 m (30 ft) aura gives nearby creatures Steeped in Bliss: advantage on physical ability checks, but disadvantage on mental saving throws and vulnerability to psychic damage. Use it when your party can exploit that vulnerability, and watch who else is standing in range.
Where to find the Resonance Stone
Travel to the Mind Flayer Colony in Act Two. Look in the small area southwest of the Necrotic Laboratory, near the Mind-Archive Interface, at approximately X: 692, Y: -114. The bg3.wiki item entry lists this as the stone’s location.
An older The Game Haus guide published December 14, 2023 describes the stone as a random drop near the Necrotic Brain Link machine. That account conflicts with the current coordinate-based location, so use the Mind-Archive Interface area as your main route rather than searching for a random drop.
What the Resonance Stone does
The Resonance Stone is a rare miscellaneous item. While its aura is active, every affected creature within 9 m (30 ft) gains Steeped in Bliss. The effect applies to enemies as well as allies, but excludes undead and constructs.

- Psychic damage: affected creatures become vulnerable to it.
These effects make the stone a double-edged tool: it can amplify your psychic attacks, but it can also leave creatures in its radius more exposed to psychic damage and less reliable on mental saves.
When to use it
Deploy it for psychic damage
The clearest reason to carry the stone is a party or build that can deal substantial psychic damage. Gamestegy recommends pairing it with psychic-damage sources such as Shadow Blade and Shadow Strike in its Resonance Stone guide. If your attacks can take advantage of the vulnerability, the aura may make the item worthwhile.

Control who stands in the aura
Positioning matters because the stone does not distinguish between your party and nearby enemies. Keep allies who need dependable mental saving throws, or who risk taking psychic damage, out of range when possible. Likewise, be mindful of enemies inside the aura: they receive the same vulnerability your party does.
Check the encounter and your party
Before deploying it, consider how much psychic damage your side can deal, whether enemies can exploit psychic vulnerability, how important mental saving throws are, and whether you can keep vulnerable allies outside the 9 m (30 ft) radius. The aura has no effect on undead or constructs, so those creatures do not gain Steeped in Bliss.

Does the Resonance Stone keep working after Act Two?
The bg3.wiki entry reports a bug in which the stone sometimes stops functioning after you leave Act Two. Treat this as a reported issue, not as a guaranteed outcome; the available item information does not establish that every playthrough will encounter it.
