There is no mouse specification that guarantees better aim in VALORANT. Choose by shape and hand fit first, then compare weight, connection type, polling rate, battery life at that polling rate, and current local price. The available manufacturer documentation supports a practical shortlist, not a verified ranking of 15 tested mice, so the options below are organized by fit and use rather than presented as winners.
How to choose a VALORANT mouse
Start with the shape
Shape affects how a mouse sits in your hand and how you control it. For example, Razer describes the Viper V4 Pro as symmetrical for right-handed use and the DeathAdder V4 Pro as right-handed ergonomic. Those are different shell approaches, not a universal ranking: compare the actual shape with your grip and hand size where possible.
Compare the complete specification
- Weight: Confirm the figure for the exact model, color, and edition. Manufacturer-listed weights are specifications, not independent measurements.
- Connection: Decide whether you want wireless operation, wired capability, or both. Check what is included with the specific product.
- Polling rate and battery: A higher maximum polling rate can come with a substantially shorter stated battery life. Compare the battery estimate at the setting you intend to use.
- Price and availability: Check current retailer listings in your region; prices and stock are not established here for every candidate.
Maximum DPI or polling rate by itself does not show that a mouse will improve your aim. The relevant question is whether the fit and features work for you at a price you are comfortable paying.
Shortlist by fit and use
Razer Viper V4 Pro: symmetrical, right-handed shell
Razer specifies the Viper V4 Pro for symmetrical, right-handed use and says it supports wired or wireless operation. Its approximate manufacturer-listed weight is 49 g in black or 50 g in white. Razer lists battery life of up to 180 hours at 1000 Hz and up to 45 hours at 8000 Hz. These figures are manufacturer claims and vary by polling setting; see Razer’s Viper V4 Pro specifications.

Razer DeathAdder V4 Pro: right-handed ergonomic shell
The DeathAdder V4 Pro is a right-handed ergonomic option. Razer lists approximate weights of 56 g in black and 57 g in white, with battery life of up to 150 hours at 1000 Hz or 22 hours at 8000 Hz. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent test results. Check Razer’s DeathAdder V4 Pro specifications for the product details.
Logitech G PRO Wireless: wireless PRO-series option
Logitech describes the G PRO Wireless as a LIGHTSPEED wireless mouse with a 1 ms report rate and says it was developed with more than 50 professional players. Those are manufacturer statements, not evidence that it will suit every player or improve performance. Review the current product information at Logitech G PRO Wireless.

Why this is a shortlist, not a ranked top 15
The available product documentation establishes useful examples from several manufacturers, but it does not verify 15 current models against the same criteria. It also does not provide independent comparative testing, a consistent ranking method, or current regional prices and stock for a 15-mouse field. Calling these the objectively best 15 would overstate what is established. Treat the options above as starting points, then compare exact models and variants using the same criteria.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Is a gaming mouse specifically for VALORANT necessary?
No special VALORANT-only mouse is established as a requirement. A mouse is worth considering if its shape, weight, connection, and price suit you; a high-end feature list alone is not a reason to replace a mouse that already fits your needs. Try to assess the shell and grip in person when possible, and verify the exact model’s current specifications before buying.
