What the official notes confirm about Longbow skills
The latest located Longbow-specific official notes are for version 4.9.0, dated August 26, 2026, on the game’s en-CA site. They document a Purifying Touch interaction fix and a corrected Skill Core: Eye of Ventius description—not a full Longbow skill catalogue. Patch timing and localization can differ by region, so the notes may not align exactly with every player’s client.
The following is a partial list of skills and features named in official update notes, not an exhaustive or ranked build guide.

How skill specializations work
A skill specialization is a customization attached to a skill. The game’s 2024 launch notes described choices that can upgrade a skill or change it entirely, and reported more than 250 specializations across all skills. That is a launch-era total for the whole game—not a Longbow-only count or proof that every current Longbow skill has a specialization.
The same launch notes described a limit of 24 active abilities per weapon combo. Treat this as launch-era system context rather than a confirmed current limit. The notes also said specializations unlock at level 15 and described point availability through level 50; those details likewise should not be assumed to describe current progression.

For current progression, update 4.0.0 raised the character level cap to 60 and grants five Skill Specialization Points at each of levels 56 and 60. Consult your character’s in-game specialization screen for the points and options currently available.

Enhancement systems are not interchangeable
Several systems can affect skills or their outcomes, but they are distinct. A specialization changes a skill through its available customization choices; the other systems below should not be mistaken for additional specialization options.
- Weapon Mastery: A separate progression system. Update 3.30.0 names a Longbow Rare Tactics node, “Bind Duration ▲,” as an example of a mastery effect that modifies an outcome independently of a skill’s specialization.
- Potential Skills: Update 4.0.0 says these may be added to equipment when obtained and grant skill enhancements or stat boosts. The update also describes sealing, trading, and inheritance behavior. They are equipment-bound effects, not skill specializations.
- Skill Cores: Item- or weapon-linked effects. The 4.9.0 Eye of Ventius correction concerns a Skill Core description, not the base skill roster.
- Skill growth: Update 4.0.0 says Heroic skills grow through Brilliant Skill Growth Book and Brilliant Skill Growth Book: Omniscient. These are in-game progression items.

What to check in game before choosing a Longbow setup
Because the cited update notes do not provide the complete current roster, they cannot support a definitive skill-by-skill comparison, current loadout recommendation, or universal PvE/PvP ranking. Use the in-game Longbow skill and specialization panels to verify the options in your client, then compare skills by role, specialization effect, cooldown or resource cost, range or area, and how they interact with your chosen weapon and equipment. Treat older patch numbers and effects as historical unless the current tooltip confirms them.
