Several are specific to Leon, Claire, or Scenario B, so check each access condition before leaving an area. The locations and route details below follow the Gameplay.Tips guide dated January 20, 2019; room names may vary by localization.
All 15 Mr. Raccoon locations in Resident Evil 2 Remake
- Police Station, West Office: Look on the top shelf along the north wall.
- Police Station, second-floor S.T.A.R.S. Office: Check the southeast corner, behind a computer monitor.
- Police Station Firing Range / parking garage area: Search the northwest part of the area.
- Police Station Break Room: Look near the bunk beds, behind a briefcase. This one is available in Leon’s campaign or Claire’s second scenario.
- Room beside the Police Chief’s Office: Find it on a table. Leon needs the Square Crank to reach the room; Claire needs the Heart Key.
- East Storage Room area, south room: In Claire’s campaign only, use the Heart Key to access the area, then check the top shelf beside the door.
- Hallway west of the Clock Tower: Check the sill of the last window at the end of the hall.
- After the crocodile encounter: In Leon’s campaign, search the corner before the ladder leading to Ada.
- Incinerator Room: During the Ada segment in Leon’s campaign, search west of the room door.
- Bus by the basketball court: As Claire, after crossing the Parking Garage, look near the bus entrance.
- Orphanage Nursery: As Claire, check a shelf upstairs.
- Lower Sewers: Search the hallway leading to the Supplies Storage Room.
- Laboratory Cafeteria: Check a table near the ladder.
- Laboratory Nap Room: The bobblehead is inside a sleeping pod. Use the Signal Modulator to unlock it.
- Scenario B tunnel exit: Look in the bushes near the stairs just beyond the tunnel exit.
Which Mr. Raccoons are missable?
The main risk is leaving an area or starting the wrong story route before collecting a character- or scenario-specific bobblehead. The Break Room entry is limited to Leon’s campaign or Claire’s second scenario; the room beside the Police Chief’s Office requires a different key depending on the character; and the East Storage Room entry is Claire-only. The crocodile aftermath and Incinerator Room entries are part of Leon’s route, while the bus and Orphanage entries are Claire’s. The final tunnel-exit entry is in Scenario B.
Some locations cannot be revisited later, so use the checklist while progressing rather than expecting to sweep the whole game after reaching the Laboratory. The guide reports these route restrictions; check your in-game map and current scenario if localized room labels differ.
Keep the game versions separate
The unqualified title “Mr. Raccoon” can also point to Resident Evil Requiem, whose guides describe a separate set of 25 collectibles. Do not combine those locations with the 15-bobblehead route in Resident Evil 2 (2019). See the separate GameSpot Requiem location guide or the Shacknews Requiem guide if that is the game you are playing.
