The Night Show Star Path was a music-festival event in Disney Dreamlight Valley introduced with the 2024 Jungle Getaway update. The duties below translate the event’s riddle-style task wording into actions. They are dated examples, not confirmation that the Star Path is active in October 2026; check the in-game event and Star Path duty list for current availability and exact requirements.
How to check a Night Show duty
Open the event or Star Path duty list in the game and read the full requirement and progress counter. Individual Star Path duty progress tracking was added in the October 2024 update, so use the counter to confirm that the game has registered the required action. If a guide’s wording conflicts with the in-game requirement, follow the game.
The Night Show duties used playful clues for ordinary game actions. Translate the clue into its target action, then check any specified fish, item, character, biome, meal rating, or daily condition before you start.
Gathering, fishing, and mining duties
Gathering
- “Banish some Night Thorns”: Remove Night Thorns or Splinters of Fate.
- “Collect seafood on the sand”: Pick up Clams, Oysters, or Scallops on Dazzle Beach.
- For duties asking for a particular fruit or flower, harvest the named item; the item itself is the constraint, so check the wording rather than substituting another harvest.
Fishing
- “Cast for an Angler”: Catch an Angler in the Forgotten Lands.
- “Fish Perch in the Forest”: Catch Perch in the Forest of Valor.
These examples require both the named fish and the named biome. Catching the right fish elsewhere may not satisfy the duty.

Mining
- “Mine for a black gemstone”: Mine Onyx in any biome.
- For a named-gem duty, mine the specified gem; for broader mining duties, follow the exact target and location shown in the duty panel.
Cooking and crafting duties
Some duties ask you to cook a dish at a specified star rating, craft a particular item, or make a large elixir. Match the listed recipe or item and any rating requirement. A 2024 guide has an internal contradiction: it labels a task as requiring four-star meals but then advises cooking three-star meals. That guide is not reliable for resolving the requirement; use the in-game wording and progress counter.
Villager and restaurant duties
- Favorite gifts: Give the named villager a favorite gift. The recipient matters; an ordinary gift or a favorite gift for someone else may not count.
- Daily conversations: Talk to the specified character, respecting any “daily” wording.
- Hang out: Ask the named villager to hang out and complete the duty’s stated requirement.
- Serve meals: Serve meals at Chez Remy or Tiana’s Palace when the duty names restaurant service.
Boutique, DreamSnaps, and Dreamlight Duties
- Daisy’s Boutique Challenge: Complete the challenge when a duty calls for it.
- DreamSnaps: Submit a DreamSnaps entry when requested.
- Dreamlight Duties: Complete the qualifying Dreamlight Duty named or described in the Star Path task.
These are separate activity types: completing a regular Dreamlight Duty does not automatically complete a DreamSnaps or Boutique task.

How many duties can you complete, and how do you earn Note Tokens?
Note Tokens were The Night Show’s event currency. Completing Star Path duties earned tokens, which could be spent on the event’s virtual rewards. The following figures describe the 2024 event only and should not be treated as current rules or offers.

What was The Night Show?
The Night Show arrived with the Jungle Getaway update as a music-festival-themed Star Path, with rock-inspired clothing and furniture and a Rockstar Turtle companion. Its rewards also drew on Disney Villains, Disney Princess, and rock-music styles. The update report noted that the Arcade Edition did not include seasonal Star Paths or the Premium Shop, so platform and edition can affect access.
