The Frostpire Expanse adds 14 ores to The Forge: Tungsten, Sulfur, Pumice, Graphite, Aetherit, Scheelite, Larimar, Neurotite, Frost Fossil, Tide Carve, Velchire, Sanctis, Snowite, and Iceite. They come from icy rocks and ice-crystal formations, and their notable traits range from armor defense and movement boosts to enemy slows and freezes. Some guides also spell the region “Frostspire”; this article uses “Frostpire.”

The roster is corroborated by AllThings. How’s December 2025 winter-update guide, Pro Game Guides’ ore guide, updated February 22, 2026, and the ForgeOre database. Traits are broad descriptions, not a guarantee of unchanged current balance.
What the ore traits do
Armor: defense, speed, and stamina
Graphite is the defensive choice in the available descriptions: it adds defense, with one guide also reporting a chance to reduce incoming damage. Aetherit and Velchire are associated with movement speed, while Sanctis is associated with stamina or endurance on armor. The sources do not establish current percentages, so treat these as trait categories rather than exact build statistics.
Weapons: damage, slow, and freeze
Frost Fossil is described as increasing physical damage while reducing movement speed. Snowite’s weapon effect slows both enemy movement and attack speed. Iceite is associated with freezing an enemy, but its published multiplier and drop-odds figures conflict, so no exact value is reliable here.

Ores without a listed passive
Pro Game Guides’ February 2026 guide lists Tungsten, Sulfur, Pumice, Scheelite, Larimar, Neurotite, and Tide Carve without passive traits. That is a guide- and version-specific listing, not proof those ores can never gain or receive an effect. An ore without a listed passive may still be useful as a material; check its current in-game details for forging and sale values.
Where Frostpire ores come from
Frostpire is Island 3, the game’s third major world. Its mining formations include Icy Pebbles, Icy Rocks, Icy Boulders, and small, medium, large, and floating ice crystals. The winter-update guide maps ore drops across these different node types: surface nodes generally cover common-to-mid-tier drops, while some rarer ores are associated with boulders and crystal formations. The exact ore-to-node assignment can change and should be checked against the current in-game node and ore information.

Published Iceite figures do not agree. AllThings. How reports a 10.5x multiplier and odds of about 1 in 9,898. Pro Game Guides’ table instead gives 8x and 1 in 1,650, although its summary and FAQ repeat the 10.5x and 1-in-9,898 figures. ForgeOre lists the 10.5x multiplier but does not resolve the probability discrepancy. These are materially different values, not rounding variations; none should be treated as a settled current rate without checking the live game.
