The newest explicitly named ARC Raiders store looks are the Misthorn Set’s Blue Silver and Green Wood color variants, announced September 29, 2026. Embark also scheduled its Frozen Trail update for October 8, with five new outfits and more cosmetics in a free and premium Reward Pass. These looks can shape a Raider’s visible self-presentation, but an outfit is not reliable evidence of how its wearer will play.
What are the newest ARC Raiders skins?
Misthorn Set: Blue Silver and Green Wood
In its September 29 Store Update 1.48.0, Embark announced Blue Silver and Green Wood color variants for the Misthorn Set. Players who already own the set were to receive both variants automatically, without restarting the game.
Frozen Trail: five outfits and more cosmetics
Embark’s September 23 Frozen Trail preview scheduled the update for October 8, 2026, and announced a Reward Pass with five new outfits in its free pass, alongside premium outfit toggles and exclusive colorways. The preview did not name all five outfits, so their individual looks should be confirmed in the live game rather than inferred from rumors.
The announced cosmetic rewards extend beyond outfits: the pass includes weapon stencils, hairstyles, Scrappy outfits, furniture, charms, attachments, and emotes. Weapon stencils reskin weapons, not character outfits. Embark described their risk this way: “Leave enemies in no doubt who shot them, but beware – Raiders who best you will be more than happy to take your personalized weapon for themselves.”

Why can a skin change how players read one another?
ARC Raiders is an extraction adventure with cross-platform social play. Embark says players can shape a Raider’s identity and playstyle in a world where they face both machines and other Raiders. In encounters where another player’s intentions are uncertain, appearance is one of the visible cues people may notice.
That is a way to describe possible impressions, not a proven decoding system. The official descriptions establish customization and cosmetic categories; they do not establish that a particular outfit predicts cooperation, aggression, skill, or personality. Nor do they document a gameplay advantage from wearing these outfits. A player may read a look as distinctive or intimidating, but that is an impression—not dependable information about the person wearing it.

The Subway offer is separate from the Reward Pass: it is a limited U.S. qualifying-purchase promotion, and its terms may change or the offer may end early. The pass categories were announced in advance; confirm what is actually available in-game after the update launches.
Are skins, names, and weapon stencils the same kind of signal?
No. An outfit or colorway is a cosmetic presentation; a weapon stencil changes the weapon’s appearance and can make it visually identifiable, with the added risk of being taken by a Raider who defeats its owner. Neither should be confused with account identity.

Embark separately allows players to edit their display name in-game or through Embark ID, subject to conduct rules, a 2–16 character limit, and one change every 30 days. The Embark ID discriminator appears in the format DisplayName#1234. A display name is an account label, while a skin is an appearance choice; neither, by itself, proves how someone will behave in an encounter.
What else is happening when Frozen Trail launches?
Embark scheduled a free-play event across Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation from October 8 at 09:00 UTC to October 12 at 08:00 UTC, coinciding with Frozen Trail. The announcement is about access to the game, not a separate guarantee that every pass cosmetic will be free.
