Roblox Abyss has four core potions and three core shards, and the reported effect for each lasts 15 minutes. To use one, the AllThings. How guide says to place it in your hotbar, equip it with its number key, then left-click. The item effects and shop details below come from third-party guides and community wikis, not official game documentation, so check the live game for current stock, prices, and availability.
What each potion and shard does
The figures below are gameplay effects reported by AllThings. How in 2026 and corroborated by community-wiki listings. They are not official developer-confirmed statistics.
| Item | Reported effect | Duration and drawback |
|---|---|---|
| XP Potion | +30% earned XP | 15 minutes; no drawback listed |
| Strength Potion | +30% gun damage | 15 minutes; no drawback listed |
| Speed Potion | +20% tube speed | 15 minutes; no drawback listed |
| Drop Luck Potion | +30% fish drop luck | 15 minutes; no drawback listed. The Fandom entry says this affects treasure drops from fish and Mini-Boss drops. |
| Crimson Shard | +50% speed and drop luck | 15 minutes; -15% strength |
| Void Shard | +50% strength and XP | 15 minutes; -15% speed |
| Oxygen Shard | +30% oxygen capacity | 15 minutes; no drawback listed |
For a straightforward XP or combat boost, the corresponding potion has no listed penalty. Crimson Shard trades some strength for speed and loot luck; Void Shard trades some speed for strength and XP. Oxygen Shard is the option for a run where oxygen capacity is the constraint.
How do I drink potions in Roblox Abyss?
- Put the potion or shard in your hotbar.
- Press the number key for its hotbar slot to equip it.
- Left-click to consume it. The guide says an effect icon appears and the 15-minute timer begins immediately.
These are controls reported by AllThings. How, not official control documentation. That guide also says effects can stack and items can be consumed back-to-back; official confirmation of stacking or cooldown behavior was not found in the cited sources.

Where to find potions and shards
Guides and community-wiki pages do not agree consistently on sellers, stock, or prices. Treat merchant and bundle information as leads rather than guaranteed current inventory, and verify details in the live game.
- AllThings. How reports that Mr. Black in Forgotten Deep has a rotating stock of three items and mentions quest and code rewards. The Mr. Black fan-wiki page lists Small and Basic Oxygen Pods and Speed Potion.
- Game8 and the Fandom Exclusive Shop page describe the Diver’s Pack as a source of Void and Oxygen Shards. Game8’s page was last updated February 25, 2026, says the pack costs 349 Robux and grants five Void Shards, and warns its coverage may not include content after the Jungle update. The Fandom page lists five Void Shards, five Oxygen Shards, and ten Speed Potions in the pack. Current availability is not established.
- Other guides assign items to Jeff or Victor and say prices can vary by zone or game version. These seller details conflict with other listings.
Wiki-reported prices
The Fandom Potions page lists the following prices. They are community-wiki listings, not verified live-game prices.

The community-wiki Items page separately records a Love Potion event item that grants +10% to all stats for 10 minutes. The Fandom Exclusive Shop page associates it with a Valentine’s bundle marked unavailable. This establishes it as a documented event item, not a confirmed current purchase.
