How did the quests work?
The basic loop was to play with friends in the experiences named by the quests and earn XP. Epic said players could use the same friends for each quest or switch up their group. Its announcement describes the general approach, not every objective.
The Fortnite Wiki lists nine XP objectives, each requiring 80,000 XP earned in a party with friends. This objective list is community-maintained rather than reproduced in Epic’s announcement:

The wiki also lists separate mobile-only tasks: invite a friend and earn XP on mobile. Epic’s announcement confirms a mobile entry point through the Add Friends menu, where players could choose Invite a Friend. Epic said that feature was unavailable on cloud gaming; that statement does not establish compatibility for every quest or platform.
What rewards could players earn?
Epic confirmed that completing nine quests unlocked the Cuddle Team Rider Outfit. Its announcement also named the Cuddle Bats Pickaxe, Cuddlebear Plushie Back Bling, and “ACELERADA” Jam Track by MXZI and sma$her.

Can you still earn Winter Rush XP or claim its free rewards?
No. The event ended on November 29, 2025, so its event quests are no longer available to complete. That also answers questions about whether a weekly or seasonal XP cap changes Winter Rush progress: the event itself is over, and its quests are distinct from other XP systems.

Epic Player Support notes that free items may be earned through in-game challenges and that some offers are limited to a particular season. The available information does not establish whether each Winter Rush cosmetic might return to the Item Shop, so there is no confirmed route to obtain these items now. Check Epic’s guidance on free Fortnite items and official Epic channels for current offers. Epic also warns players to be wary of suspicious third-party claims offering free items or V-Bucks.
