Fortnite v37.10 launched on August 26, 2025. Its headlining addition was Festival Season 10, featuring Gorillaz characters and a new Main Stage, alongside Festival quality-of-life updates and a substantial set of Ballistic changes. One-Punch Man cosmetics were reported for August 27, the day after the patch window began; that timing and the reported items came from secondary coverage, not an official Epic announcement in the available release information.
What was in the Fortnite August 26 update?
Epic’s v37.10 patch window began August 26, 2025. The update covered several different parts of Fortnite rather than one shared gameplay mode:

- Fortnite Festival: Gorillaz headlined Season 10, with a new Main Stage, season cosmetics and Music Pass, plus improvements to note feedback, song sorting and guitar-controller calibration.
- Ballistic: Epic added a weapon and a deployable cover gadget, adjusted two maps, and changed several competitive rules and gunplay behaviors.
- Cosmetics: Epic’s Festival announcement detailed Gorillaz items. A separate roundup reported One-Punch Man and other cosmetics for the surrounding update period; those details should be distinguished from Epic-confirmed Festival content.
The dates matter: Epic announced the Festival season on August 25 and said it would debut August 26. Beebom’s August 26 roundup reported the One-Punch Man collaboration for August 27, so it was not described as arriving with the August 26 launch itself.
What changed in Fortnite Festival Season 10?
Gorillaz take over the Main Stage
Noodle, 2D, Russel Hobbs and Murdoc Niccals are the four Gorillaz icons featured in Season 10. The new Main Stage has towering buildings, a street train and graffiti styling, giving the season a cityscape built around the band’s visual identity.

Timing feedback, song sorting and guitar setup
Epic’s Festival changes focus on making play and setup clearer:
- A “Good” indicator appears when a note input is slightly early or late.
- Players can turn off the visual feedback for Good notes if they prefer a less prominent indicator.
- Lift-note connectors have been redesigned, with an option to switch them off.
- The Main Stage song library can be sorted by song duration or intensity.
- Guitar-controller players can strum during tune-up to test and calibrate the controller.
How do the Gorillaz Music Pass and Item Shop items differ?
The Season 10 Music Pass is a progression-based route to its premium rewards; the Noodle and 2D bundle and the named Jam Tracks are Item Shop offerings. Epic listed the Music Pass at 1,400 V-Bucks for Season 10 in 2025. Premium rewards may become purchasable in the Shop later, but that possibility does not establish when or whether a particular reward will appear there.

When were the One-Punch Man skins reported to arrive?
Beebom’s August 26, 2025 roundup reported that Fortnite’s One-Punch Man collaboration was scheduled for August 27. It named Saitama, Genos and Tatsumaki outfits, along with associated cosmetics. Because the available details come from secondary reporting rather than an official Epic announcement, treat the date and lineup as reported information, not as an Epic-confirmed v37.10 patch note.

The roundup also described a Saitama Medallion that could be obtained by claiming a Capture Point and would grant a one-hit pickaxe elimination effect. That item detail is likewise secondary reporting. It should not be confused with the Festival items Epic announced for the August 26 season launch.
What changed in Ballistic v37.10?
New weapon and deployable cover
- Veiled Precision SMG: Epic described this as a lightweight close-to-mid-range weapon intended to reward controlled bursts.
- Deployable Wall: This gadget creates cover and blocks sightlines. It can provide a place to reload and help players gain height.
Map and Buy Phase changes
Hammer Fall received complete art. Epic also adjusted the layouts of Storm Chaser Cove and K-Zone Commons, aiming to smooth chokepoints and improve sightlines. Players can now refund purchases from the buy menu during the Buy Phase.

Auto-Surrender and competitive updates
Auto-Surrender can trigger a vote at the start of Round 3 when the game detects idling or a low team size. Epic also documented new accolade visuals and a Ranked Season 3 reset, as well as Champions Road quests.
Gunplay and animation
One notable gunplay adjustment changes how reduced accuracy while aiming down sights during movement is handled: for non-shotguns, Epic replaced that reduced accuracy with higher recoil. The change applies to non-shotguns, not shotguns.

What else did the August 26 roundup mention?
Beebom’s roundup also reported Front Man from Squid Game, gameplay items, a Blitz Royale “Asteria Awakened” update, Battle Pass Super Styles and a Fortnite OG red cube. It additionally mentioned upcoming cosmetic leaks. These details were reported by that outlet; leaked or future items are not a guarantee that content was live in v37.10 or would release as described.
What creators should know about Festival track videos
For Season 10, Epic said eligible Jam Tracks could be used in monetized VODs for the first seven days. Eligibility required linking YouTube and Support-A-Creator accounts. Epic named Gorillaz’s “Clint Eastwood” and “DARE” as eligible tracks. It also warned Twitch creators that VODs or clips could still be flagged by third-party copyright systems.
