If you mean the character lineage system, clans are no longer the current mechanic in Roblox’s Devil Hunter. Update 1 replaced them with Bloodlines on July 11, 2026. Bloodlines provide permanent stat buffs and passive effects; Epic and Legendary Bloodlines also have an activatable mode. “Clan” can still mean a player-organized group, but current rules for any in-game social-clan feature are not established.
What happened to clans in Devil Hunter?
The old clan system assigned a character a family name with associated bonuses. It was replaced by Bloodlines in Update 1 on July 11, 2026, according to the Devil Hunter clan guide, which marks the old system as removed. Its old lineage perks, reroll offers, and instructions should not be treated as current gameplay information.
That distinction matters because players also use “clan” to mean a group of players who coordinate. A January 2026 overview described player groups as a way to organize contracts, raids, and PvP, but it predates Update 1 and did not establish current creation steps, membership limits, or exclusive activities (overview and historical guide). Current social-group menus and rules are not confirmed by the available sources.
How Bloodlines work now
Bloodlines are the current character-lineage mechanic. A Bloodline combines a permanent stat buff with a conditional passive. Epic and Legendary Bloodlines also have an activatable mode, while Rare Bloodlines are described as having passives only. A current tier overview lists 15 Bloodlines: three Legendary, three Epic, and nine Rare (Bloodlines guide).

Those totals and effects can change with patches. An August 11, 2026 unofficial guide, for example, lists Makima with Technique, Sanity, and Resistance buffs plus a stun passive; Hayakawa with Technique, Speed, and Resistance buffs plus a dodge passive; and Quanxi with devil-NPC and global damage bonuses plus a parry-triggered teleport passive (TheGamer’s Bloodlines guide). Treat specific names, effects, and numerical bonuses as patch-sensitive rather than guarantees; use the current in-game Bloodline description to assess a build.
How to get and reroll Bloodlines
Current guides call the reroll item a Bloodline Reroll and report that rerolls may be obtained through codes or in-game drops. They also report an Update 1 pity system, but exact thresholds are not established and may vary. Check the current in-game information before deciding how many rerolls to use; no guaranteed reroll count can be stated here (Bloodlines guide).

How to choose a Bloodline
There is no context-free best Bloodline. Compare its permanent buff and passive trigger with your build and the content you play. For PvP, a passive that activates reliably during player fights may matter more than a bonus aimed at devil NPCs; for PvE, the reverse may be true. Epic and Legendary options add an activatable mode, so consider whether you can use it effectively alongside your normal rotation. Since effects are patch-sensitive, check the current description rather than relying on an older tier list.

This is historical context, not a current reroll guide. The removed system reportedly had eight rare family-name lineages and more than 50 common names. Rare lineages had distinct buffs or contract-specific effects, while common names had no special perks. An archived guide listed offers of 150 Robux for one reroll and 399 Robux for three; those are historical prices for the removed system, not current Bloodline pricing or an offer to buy (archived clan guide).
