The ritual awards the Everbloom and unlocks Last Dive, which sends Hornet back to the Abyss to face Lost Lace. This is an endgame, spoiler-forward walkthrough for players already in Act 3.
Start The Old Hearts
Act 3 follows the Snared Silk ending and a restart of the save profile. After Hornet’s first descent into the Abyss, her return to Pharloom, and the visit to the Spell Seeker, speak with the Snail Shamans in the Ruined Chapel at Bone Bottom. Speak to them again there to begin SEEK: The Old Hearts.
The quest requires three hearts, not all four. You can choose from the Encrusted Heart, Pollen Heart, Hunter’s Heart, and the Clover Dancers’ Conjoined Heart. The Conjoined Heart counts toward the total and can replace any one of the three named hearts.
Choose three heart routes

Encrusted Heart: Heart of Might
Reach the Coral Tower
Travel to the Sands of Karak and climb the Coral Tower in the northwest corner of the area. Expect coral platforming and burrowing fauna on the way up. Clawline is the intended way across the difficult gaps formed by spiky rocks.

Enter Khann’s memory
At the tower’s crown, play the Shaman’s Song to enter the king’s memory. Defeat Crust King Khann to receive the Encrusted Heart.
If Khann is stopping your progress, leave this route and take the Conjoined Heart from the Clover Dancers instead. You only need three of the four eligible hearts.

Pollen Heart: Heart of the Woods
Find the hidden Grand Gate entrance
The Pollen Heart is in Lost Verdania, beneath the Grand Gate. Go to the Grand Gate lift shaft and look for a hidden opening on its left side, halfway down. The route described by PC Gamer uses Silk Soar to reach the upper route before breaking through the shaft wall. After the spiky platforming section, open the shortcut; it shortens the return route to Seth.
Defeat Seth and Nyleth
Follow the shrine route and defeat Seth, the Shrine Guardian. Continue into Lost Verdania and play the Shaman’s Song to enliven the memory. Defeat Nyleth to claim the Pollen Heart. Nyleth’s fight uses blooms, pollen clouds, and summoned thorns.

The Clover Dancers’ Conjoined Heart is also in Lost Verdania, so you can substitute it if Nyleth proves too difficult.
Hunter’s Heart: Heart of the Wild
Reach the hidden Far Fields path
Go to the Far Fields and use Silk Soar, which Hornet earns in the Abyss, to reach the hidden path above the familiar hunting grounds. Follow it to the shrine.

Enter the hunt-queen’s memory
Play the Shaman’s Song at the shrine to enter the hunt-queen’s memory, then defeat Skarrsinger Karmelita for the Hunter’s Heart. If Karmelita is too difficult, the Conjoined Heart can stand in for this one.

The Clover Dancers guard the Conjoined Heart in Lost Verdania. It is not an additional bonus heart for this quest: it counts toward the three-heart requirement and can replace one of the Encrusted, Pollen, or Hunter’s Hearts. Use it to bypass whichever main guardian or route is giving you the most trouble.

Finish the quest and unlock Last Dive
- Return to the Snail Shamans at the Ruined Chapel in Bone Bottom with three eligible hearts.
- Complete the playable Red Memory sequence they perform.
- Receive the Everbloom. Its item description reads: “Fragile flower taken from a deep and distant memory. Its pale light wards against the void.”
- Go to the Deep Docks diving bell and speak with Ballow.
- Descend into the Abyss for Last Dive and face Lost Lace.
The Everbloom is the ward needed for the final dive. Completing Act 3’s main questline and defeating Lost Lace concludes the final ending.
If you are trying to unlock Act 3
This walkthrough begins after Act 3 access is available. A Nintendo Life guide published February 27, 2026, reports a suggested route involving Threefold Melodies, Wish Board completion, Bellhome, Shakra’s Trail’s End, exploring Bilewater and Putrified Ducts, moving the Flea Caravan, and completing Silk and Soul. The guide also notes that the exact requirements were still debated, so treat that list as a reported path rather than a definitive checklist.
