In Remedy’s release notes, 1.2.7 is the PC version number; the corresponding console builds are PS5 1.200.007 and Xbox Series 1.2.0.7. It is not the game’s latest update: Remedy’s archive lists version 1.2.10, dated August 18, 2026.
What are the platform versions for update 1.2.7?
Remedy’s official update notes give different version labels by platform. Match the number to the platform rather than treating 1.2.7 as the console build number.

What changed in the patch?
PS5 Pro graphics options
The update added a Balanced graphics mode for PS5 Pro. Remedy says it targets 40 fps and requires a compatible display capable of 120 Hz. That is the stated target and display requirement, not a guarantee of a measured frame rate in every scene or setup.
The notes describe Balanced as combining ray tracing with Performance mode resolution. They also list small visual adjustments to Performance mode intended to improve frame-rate consistency, and ray-tracing adjustments in both Quality and Balanced modes to reduce image noise.

The Lake House fixes
- Corrected manuscript collectible pages that were displayed incorrectly in Saga’s Mind Place.
- Fixed missing audio in The Lake House video collectible “Welcome to the Lake House.”
Remedy’s entry also lists “Minor fixes and optimizations” without specifying them individually.
Is update 1.2.7 the latest Alan Wake 2 patch?
No. Remedy’s update archive labels its August 18, 2026 entry as the latest and lists PC version 1.2.10, Xbox Series 1.2.0.10, and PlayStation 5 1.200.009. Among the changes it names are PC support for FSR 4 and FSR Frame Generation, plus a fix for lingering cinematic audio synchronization issues on all platforms. The archive’s later entry does not change the historical platform labels for 1.2.7.

Is update 1.2.7 part of the Anniversary Update?
No. Remedy’s October 2024 Anniversary Update was a separate free update. Its quality-of-life and accessibility additions included horizontal-axis inversion, DualSense gyro aiming, expanded haptics, and a Gameplay Assist menu, as described in the Anniversary Update explanation. Those features should not be confused with the December 2024 changes listed for 1.2.7.
