There isn’t enough verified information to publish current Arms Week weapon god rolls for Destiny 2. Bungie’s official details cover the inaugural Hand Cannon event in 2025, but they do not establish the current 2026 roster, perk pools, or acquisition sources. The key 2025 weapon was Phoneutria Fera, a Solar Spreadshot Hand Cannon; its best perks should be checked against a current item database before choosing a roll.
What Arms Week featured—and what it didn’t
Bungie announced the first Arms Week for July 29, 2025, as a one-week event centered on Hand Cannons. Ada-1 started the pursuit, and using Hand Cannons in activities generated Combat Telemetry for event weapons and rewards. Bungie’s announcement named Phoneutria Fera as a new Solar Spreadshot Hand Cannon.

Ribbontail was also part of the event, but it is a Strand Adaptive Trace Rifle—not a Hand Cannon. Bungie said it could roll with Proximity Power and Detonation Beam. Don’t mistake it for another Phoneutria Fera option or include it in a Hand Cannon roll comparison.
Phoneutria Fera: what Bungie confirmed
Bungie described Phoneutria Fera as a Spreadshot Hand Cannon that behaves like a shotgun while using primary ammo, trading some punch for that ammo type. The weapon’s announced perk pool included One-Two Punch, which fits the close-range, shotgun-like concept. That confirms the weapon’s identity and one perk, not a complete current perk pool or a complete PvE or PvP god roll.

Because there is no verified current perk list here, it would be misleading to name a “best Phoneutria Fera perks” combination as current. Check the live perk pool and your intended activity before investing materials or choosing a roll.
How to judge an Arms Week god roll
A god roll depends on what you want the weapon to do. For a close-range build, assess whether the perks support the intended combat loop; for PvP, evaluate the roll for the engagement style you actually use. A perk is not automatically valuable just because it appears in a recommended combination, and the available official details do not establish enough of Phoneutria Fera’s perk pool to make a complete activity-specific recommendation.

Gear tier and perk synergy are separate considerations. Bungie’s July 2, 2025 gear-tier guidance says higher tiers add weapon benefits: Tier 2 enhances traits; Tier 3 provides two traits per column; Tier 4 enhances weapon mods and components; and Tier 5 enhances origin traits, provides three traits per column, and adds a unique ornament and combat flair. The Destiny 2 Team / Rewards team cautioned: “That said, perk synergies are still the prized chase on weapons and even lower tiered gear with synergistic perks may be stronger than a higher tier.”
How the 2025 event’s weapon acquisition worked
These are historical instructions for the July–August 2025 event, not confirmation of how to get Arms Week weapons now. During that event, Ada-1 was in the Shooting Range launched from the Tower map. Hand Cannon use in activities earned Combat Telemetry; players could spend it on Arms Week engrams, have those engrams decrypted by Rahool for free, or spend additional telemetry to focus for higher-tier rewards. Challenges advanced an event track with currencies, Holofoil weapons, and Event Tokens.

The event lasted one week and ended at the August 5, 2025 weekly reset. Its event home included daily and weekly challenges, a reward track, and a shop. See Bungie’s event recap for the historical details; they should not be treated as live acquisition steps without checking the current game.

Bungie’s November 13, 2025 content-calendar preview announced a planned January Arms Week focused on Bows and limited-time weapon mods. Bungie also warned that schedule timeframes could change. That announcement establishes the plan, not whether the event ran as scheduled, its final weapon or perk list, or current 2026 availability. It also does not change the inaugural event’s Hand Cannon roster.
