To open the locked access to the Ferrium Mineral Bed at Bridge Approach Camp, complete Wulfgard’s personal quest, The Lone Wolf, then return to the camp and follow the overhead corridors toward the bed. The lock is reported as a quest progression gate, not a lever puzzle. The route and quest requirement are reported by secondary guides, rather than confirmed in official game documentation.
How to reach the Ferrium bed
- Unlock and complete Wulfgard’s personal quest, The Lone Wolf. Guides identify completion of this quest as the condition for accessing the area.
- Return to Bridge Approach Camp in the Power Plateau area of Valley IV.
- Follow the overhead corridors toward the Ferrium resource area and pass through the access that was previously locked. If the gate still appears closed after the quest, return to it and interact with it again; GamesFuze reports that this may be needed.
The destination is described as a Ferrium bed with five mining nodes. Pro Game Guides calls it Ferrium Bed 11 in its guide updated January 22, 2026. Pro Game Guides and GamesFuze describe the quest-linked route.
If The Lone Wolf is not available
Continue advancing the main story and check your side-quest list for Wulfgard’s personal quest. The consulted guides do not identify a specific story chapter, character level, or exact unlock threshold, so there is no reliable chapter or level number to give.
Powering the mining bed and alternate access
Reaching the bed and powering it are separate tasks. GamesFuze describes connecting Electric Pylons and Relay Towers to power the resource site. It also reports a side gate with a console as a possible alternate route. The guide does not establish that this shortcut works in every case, so use the overhead corridor route if the alternate access is unavailable.
These gate and power details come from secondary guides published in January and February 2026; no official Hypergryph instructions for this specific access were identified. If a later game update changes quest or map behavior, the in-game quest list and gate state are the best checks.
