Bramblesong is the boss at the end of Bittervein Abandoned Auger Mine in northern Stoneblood Forest, Terminus Range. Complete the campaign mission Shadow of the Mountain to open the route. Guides report three notable drops—Convergence, Boomslang, and Destructo Disco—but no reliable drop-rate percentages or complete official drop table are available. In the arena, keep moving to avoid its acid attacks and watch the edges when its slam knocks you back.
Where is Bramblesong?
Bramblesong waits at the end of Bittervein Abandoned Auger Mine, on the northern edge of Stoneblood Forest in Terminus Range. The mine is beyond Substation Canonary. As an approach landmark, PC Gamer suggests starting near the Deathright silo and heading northwest; follow the mine through to the boss arena. PC Gamer’s route guide includes the location details.

Bittervein is gated by campaign progress. Advance into Terminus Range and complete Shadow of the Mountain. If you arrive before the mission unlocks the area, an energy barrier blocks the way.
What does Bramblesong drop?
Current guides report three notable Bramblesong-associated items. Their lists do not agree, so treat these as reported drops rather than a complete or guaranteed list.

Drop rates and repeat farming
The reviewed guides do not establish numerical drop chances, and no source provides an authoritative, complete Bramblesong drop table. A reported association does not mean an item is guaranteed on every kill; there is also no reliable basis here for estimating how many attempts a particular drop will take.
Bramblesong is a target for loot farming, but check the current in-game reset route and any available Encore interactions before planning repeated runs; the cited guides do not establish a dependable reset procedure. Gearbox named Bramblesong as a Weekly Big Encore Boss in its April 23, 2026 weekly update. That was a dated rotation, not confirmation of the current schedule. The update also describes a guaranteed Legendary for the weekly Wildcard Mission system; that statement is not a Bramblesong ordinary-drop guarantee.

How do you beat Bramblesong?
The main threats are ranged acid, pools left on the floor, a charging spray, and a slam that can throw you backward. Neoseeker describes the attack patterns, while PC Gamer warns that focusing on the flying boss can make it easy to miss damaging sludge underfoot. Use the arena space deliberately rather than standing still to aim.
React to the acid attacks
- Acid Barrage: Bramblesong fires explosive acid orbs in multiple directions, leaving short-lived damaging pools. Keep moving, jump or air-dash as the projectiles approach, and avoid standing in the residue.
- Tri-Spray Charge: The boss advances while spraying three streams of acid. Try to position near a wall when it starts charging; the arena geometry may shorten its run and make its path easier to avoid.
- Abdomen Slam: Avoid standing directly beneath Bramblesong. The slam can launch you, so keep track of the arena edge and glide or steer back toward solid ground if you are knocked airborne.
Keep your footing and deal damage
Watch the floor as well as the boss, especially while it is airborne. Do not assume that running underneath it avoids the barrage, and do not linger in acid pools while tracking its position. Neoseeker recommends incendiary weapons against Bramblesong’s flesh health bars; that is guide advice, not a published official damage test. Neoseeker’s Bramblesong guide lists the attacks and its weapon suggestion.

Are there Bramblesong secrets?
No reviewed source confirms a Bramblesong-specific hidden collectible, secret phase, or separate secret encounter. Gearbox’s Version 1.6 update notes say the update addressed world access so players can reach secrets and collectibles, but that is a general map-fix statement, not evidence of a secret in Bittervein or Bramblesong’s arena.
