The best place to mine copper in Palia is Kilima Valley, the region identified for copper nodes. No available source verifies one Kilima subarea or route as the single best, so the practical approach is to gather nodes as you travel through the valley rather than depend on a guaranteed hotspot.

Where copper nodes spawn

Head to Kilima Valley to find copper nodes. The Official Palia Wiki’s mining overview lists copper there; it lists other minerals for Bahari Bay, Elderwood, and Royal Highlands instead. Bahari Bay is therefore not established as a copper-node region.

Community players have mentioned areas near Fisherman’s Lagoon, Mirror Ruins, and the east side of Kilima. Those are anecdotal suggestions, not a verified comparison, so treat them as places to check rather than ranked hotspots.

How to choose a practical mining route

There is no verified route ranking or supported ore-per-hour figure. Choose a loop based on how you play:

  • Coverage: If you are specifically gathering copper, make a loop that checks more of the valley instead of repeatedly visiting one unverified hotspot.
  • Consistency: Mine the nodes you encounter; do not assume a map marker guarantees copper will appear there.

MetaForge’s August 2023 guide describes resource outcomes as variable: a copper node may later return as stone, and its suggested route does not cover every node. That is useful context, not a guarantee about current spawn behavior or an optimized route.

What copper nodes can drop

The Official Palia Wiki’s copper entry says nodes of every size drop varying amounts of copper ore and stone. It does not establish a fixed amount for small, medium, or large nodes, so plan for variable yields rather than a guaranteed haul from a particular size.

Can you get copper outside Kilima?

Yes, as a separate chance source: the Wiki also lists Copper Ore as a possible reward from Rummage Piles in Kilima Valley or Bahari Bay. That does not make Bahari Bay a copper-node area; it is an additional way to obtain ore while rummaging.
