No. For EA SPORTS FC 26, an Xbox Ultimate Team club cannot be transferred to PS5. Linking the same EA Account does not change that: EA supports Ultimate Team progression transfers between console generations within the same family, not from Xbox to PlayStation.
Why an Xbox club cannot move to PS5
EA’s FC 26 Dual Entitlement FAQ says Ultimate Team progress transfers only from PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5 or from Xbox One to Xbox Series X|S. It explicitly excludes Xbox One to PS5. EA’s broader cross-play and cross-progression guidance likewise limits progression carryover to the same platform family.
If you switch from Xbox to PS5, plan to create and build a separate PlayStation Ultimate Team club. EA’s published transfer rules do not provide a way to migrate the Xbox club, and linking or changing account connections is not a club-transfer method.
What can carry over—and what cannot
Same-family console upgrades
For FC 26, EA says Ultimate Team progression and acquired content transfer between generations within the same console family when you use the same EA Account: PS4 to PS5, or Xbox One to Xbox Series X|S. EA’s listed content includes player items, items, coins, FC Points, match record, and leaderboard placement.

Xbox-to-PlayStation move
The same-family entitlement does not extend across Xbox and PlayStation. EA’s account-linking documentation describes how to connect platform accounts, but it does not grant cross-family Ultimate Team progression.
Cross-play
Cross-play is about playing online with people on other platforms; it is separate from cross-progression. Being able to play against someone on another platform does not mean your club or its progress can be moved there.

FC Points are a separate transfer rule
EA’s FC 25-to-FC 26 points-transfer guidance allows points to move only within the same console family, including from an older generation to a newer generation in that family. It specifically disallows Xbox Series X|S to PS5. This annual-edition points carryover is not a way to move an Xbox Ultimate Team club to PlayStation.
For the FC 25-to-FC 26 carryover, EA says the transfer prompt appears the first time you log in to FC 26 on console or PC. The transfer must be completed in-game, not through the Web or Companion App, and is permanent: moved points cannot be returned to FC 25.

Check your EA Account before changing linked accounts
EA’s account-linking help explains how to view platform connections under Connected Accounts. EA advises choosing the account you intend to use long term to preserve progress and purchases. Its help page states linked accounts can be switched up to three times in a rolling year.
That limit concerns account administration, not club migration. If the wrong EA Account is connected, review EA’s current guidance or contact EA support before changing links; do not expect unlinking and relinking to move an Xbox club onto PS5.

If you are switching from Xbox to PS5
- Expect to start a new PlayStation Ultimate Team club; the Xbox club does not transfer.
- Do not buy FC Points or change account links expecting either action to migrate your club.
- If you are actually upgrading within one console family instead, use the same EA Account and check the FC edition’s current same-family progression rules.
