No: collected ingredients and crafting materials are not described as sellable in the available gameplay guides. You can sell unwanted gear to vendors, or sell captured beasts to Ellie Peck at Brood and Peck in Hogsmeade. That shop unlocks after the Beasts Class quest.
What can you sell in Hogwarts Legacy?

“Resources” can mean different things. Plants, potion ingredients and beast byproducts are materials, not captured creatures; the cited guides do not list those materials as saleable. A beast you have captured is different: it can be sold at Brood and Peck.
How to sell a captured beast
- Complete the Beasts Class quest to unlock Brood and Peck, according to Game8.
- Go to Brood and Peck in Hogsmeade and speak to Ellie Peck.
- Open the shop interface and choose the Sell tab.
- Select the captured beast you want to sell and confirm the transaction.
Brood and Peck also sells beast materials used for gear upgrades. Buying materials there is separate from selling gathered materials: the cited guides describe the shop as a buyer of captured beasts, not a place to sell ingredients or crafting supplies. How to make room or earn Galleons without selling materials
- For unwanted equipment: take gear or clothing to a vendor and sell it.
- For captured creatures: use Brood and Peck once it is unlocked.
- For ingredients and crafting materials: keep them for their in-game uses; the cited guides do not identify a vendor sale option.
The no-sale rule for materials is supported by secondary guides and a community-maintained wiki, not official game support documentation or a version-by-version patch record. These sources do not establish whether later updates or particular platform versions behave differently.
